As a teacher who regularly purchases materials from TPT, I can offer one piece of advice. I NEVER EVER buy anything that gives no preview. The better the preview (yes put am encryption on the preview) but I want to see what I am buying. Offer a FREE example of your work as well. That way I can see if your style of presenting material and mine are compatible. Thank you.

I post almost always the entire product. It is important to me that the teacher sees exactly what they are buying. Because I have almost all science lessons which are about 15 pages long, I think that if someone is going to put in all the time to copy me go ahead.

Thank you so much for your comment. I just recently launched my TPT shop in April of this year. I try to make sure to go back and add a preview of my entire product. I totally agree with you. As a teacher myself, I want to see what I'm purchasing as well.

When you, and other TPT advisors say "optimize your product", what exactly does that mean? Is it the whole she-bang--cover picture, preview, keywords in title? Or is there something specific?

The whole shebang with the snippet (first 3 lines in product description), product sizes of cover, thumbnails, preview - pdf and video.
