Hello. Love your helpful videos. Got me through some frustrating times with Boom and TPT. With all the new changes, not sure how anyone is going to survive. It's probably best to branch out to other marketplaces. I am in the process of checking all accessibilities on Boom. It's so tedious and time consuming. How do I get the motor accessible checked?
The thing is, my decks are drag and drop, if u have to listen to a word and create it with letters, then audio is out. Can a visually impaired person see all the deck. Confused. Does a screen reader read it for an auditory impaired person. Worried if I opt out I will be penalised in the search

Do you think not having accessibility features will affect sales? 3. Can you explain how the custom product is works? 4. What do I need to do as a seller when publishing a new deck on TpT? Hi Victoria, decks won’t be removed but supposedly they will not rank in search. Boom’s sales are down overall so it’s hard to say if not not having accessibility tools will affect sales. I think sellers will need to market their Boom cards better to get sales, bc Boom is doing little to promote. #3 When you get a sale on TPT, you will see a product number over on Boom. You take that number and add it to your deck, under «play ». Selling on TPT remains the same. The buyer will need to input a code on their end.
Thanks for the shout-out to my store! This past year, I had been churning out BOOM decks by the dozens! My sales are way down, too. Hopefully, some of it is the summer doldrums and not a permanent downturn. As a Premier Publisher, I do feel pressure to add the accessiblity features. I have been trying to do 3-4 decks per day, at the expense of creating any new products or even marketing old ones. I've gotten through about 75 of my 194 BOOM decks so far! I never even considered publishing decks only on BOOM and not on TpT (I didn't know you could do that). So all, my decks are on both platforms. Maybe something to reconsider?
Thank you again for your information. It is crazy this thing . I opened my store in January in boom only just to start and I’m glad I did it like that. I was able to update my decks with the accessibility most of them has the two but a few the three icons . The drag and drop are not, they said they will try t come up with something to make them friendly and accessible. My sales this month took a dive and went to 0 . I thought that by having them ready will help but no sales . I only have them at boom
Hi Ana, the drop and drag needs to be resolved soon (I hope). Most sellers I talk to are having terrible sales right now. Boom is having similar issues that TPT has had with school districts. Some districts are not allowing Boom decks now - crazy!
I have tons and tons of tpt purchases that are formatted for Google. My district uses Microsoft teams so I have been unable to use my escape rooms and other files. It requires the students to login to a Google email, and we use teams. I don't want to lose all my wonderful tpt materials. HELP
Also for my banner because youtube cannot be used I decided to place a QR code in my banner that links to my youtube page. My store is called Geeking Out On Stem
I think we need to massively contact Boom about this, like we are going to bounce if they don't do something about it. It literally gives me headache 😅
Hi Julie, I think they have already received a ton of complaints. I am making another video in the next week as they have NOW said that all Boom Decks do not have to comply with accessibility tools, only Premier Publishers. It's still crazy!
So happy to see you back and looking so good!!! Question if you have buyers at your TPT store why would you have them leave to go to another location. You're got them where you want them to go. This year I plan to really beef up my AP science lessons and then going to take a real chance and start to sell Nursing lessons for first year students. All the teachers had no idea and I believe there is a real market. Love Heid. PS. My pony was reserved Grand champion in reinsmanship this summer

Hey, you're back! I hope you had a great summer. While seeing some examples, I just realized that as a visual person I have a tendency to explain everything with images. And as for my products, my banner is also based on images. I guess it can be good to have some explanatory words that represent my store. I will think about this. Thank you so much for the video.
It's just one strategy. When I added the editable unit planner to featured, I got 2 sales that day. I can't say featured products got those sales, but the timing is interesting.

I agree that it is very frustrating! Of my 394 TpT products, 194 are BOOM decks! I was selling like a house on fire especially when I became a Premium Seller, but lately, crickets! Maybe some of that is summer doldrums? I took a stab at adding accessibility features to a few of my decks, but it takes forever! One thing I will add: I don't think this is entirely BOOM's fault, certainly not with malicious intent. In my 24 years in the ed business, we welcomed more and more students with special needs. New regulations were constantly being implemented. All the "special area" teachers (art, library, music, PE) had to read all the IEPs (Individualized Education Plans). Of our 500+ students, almost half were in special ed. We had to adapt our lessons, give preferential seating, extra time on tests, simplify language...all without a special ed background. I think the states and federal government are imposing these regulations on school districts. They don't want to be sued by the parents. I don't think BOOM can let people off the hook, especially if they want to sell to schools. But they were a bit shocked by the pushback from sellers and I think they intend to offer more training on this.
No, I agree that it isn’t Boom’s fault but their pricing is not reasonable. I have only 25 students but I have to pay for 150 in order to create more than 5 decks.

Start by putting one of your titles into the TPT search bar, and see what appears. I would recommend a low viewed product first, as Google doesn't like title changes.

There are components to uploading your products. Each product needs to be flattened, as your clipart a d fonts terms of use. Products like flatpack and now Canva, can do that for you. Then you need to secure the product so that your own work is protected. Then you can upload to TPT. All this applies to pdf type products. It may differ a little for other products. Hope that is a little clearer for you.

Unfortunately, TPT is reached via email only. I’m sorry to hear that your account has been removed. Keep being diligent and hopefully you’ll get some answers as to why it was closed.

I just looked through to find my products. I found mine on the first few pages when i changed some key words in the search bar. I am feeling hopeful and excited that I can make my first sale soon! :) Love your helpful content for us TPT sellers.
$29 for a basic account that you can’t even get back if you upgrade at a later date and is unfair especially since they take so much of a share of the money on the basic account! It’s hard enough starting out without being penalised to even start. It will put of many from even bothering now and they might be people with really good stuff to share.
I've watched a lot of videos, especially about Previews/Covers/Thumbnails. Today I found out that you can download products' previews! What I had seen before had just said to put "Preview" over the pages. Videos seemed to say that the point was to be able to see the work better. But people are downloading previews instead of buying.
