I brush with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide on my teeth and insert a blue light unit from an old kit into my mouth. Works perfect and fast!

@@FiftyPlusBeauty Beth, my blue light quit working with my new Iphone, but it still works with a regular wall plug. I hate that I'm tethered that way, though. I have to sit still through the whole treatment.

I use the SmileDirect Club system on my teeth. There were perfectly straight in my 20s, but as I "matured", they went out of alignment. Nice to have them straight again. Thanks for the whitening tips.

I’m so happy Cynthia that you also used the online Invisalign treatment. I should have known you would’ve done that even before me! Lol! I have used them now for may be about seven weeks in my bottom teeth are almost totally straight! I am really excited about this.

Thanks for this video! 20 years ago my dentist made me whitening trays and gave me the 15% Opalescense gel to use. I still have my trays and use them periodically when I notice my teeth looking dull. Like you, I leave my trays in overnight. After 2 or three uses, my teeth are looking great again! Sometimes I will use it for an hour before going out to a party or event. I can never understand why people my age (74) don’t whiten their teeth. It’s so easy and I think it takes years off of their appearance. Thanks again for helping us all in our “second half”!

Sounds like a wonderful program to straighten one's teeth. Everyone's teeth tend to move as we age so it's good to know this can slow down the process if not eliminate it altogether. I'm sure for people with periodontal disease or for individuals that have bridges, implants, etc. they would likely need to consult with their dentists to see if they are viable candidates. You always share with us the most amazing products. I enjoy and learn so much from your videos. You look fabulous as always! Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for the nice compliments Diana! Actually, the program has dentist and orthodontist on staff and they do ask about any implanted devices. I actually have a three tooth bridge on my left side and they said that was just fine. I have now been wearing the invisible aligners just at night for about seven weeks and I can’t believe how straight my bottom teeth are becoming! They are now almost totally straight! I think I have 11 weeks of aligners so I am almost there. I will let you know how it works out for sure! I am really happy about this.

Did you notice any increased sensitivity in your teeth after using the Opalescensce products? I did, so I stopped using the whiteners, but I still love the toothpaste. I am going to try the baking soda idea you mentioned. Thank you! You look amazing!

I am so with you Debbie! I can’t believe I stopped the baking soda for months because one person said it was abrasive. I actually believed her because it kind of seems like it would be. I wish! I'm another one who has to use peroxide and baking soda or even once in a while very very fined powdered turmeric powder to whiten. Plus infrared blue light. I did Bright Smile years ago and it affected my teeth and gums adversely. Although, most people do not have that problem. I am one of very few who responded that way to it. I don't use charcoal anymore either as that can scratch the enamel. Now I did Invisalign & loved it. My big choppers are very straight!

Thank you for the great intro to Byte! If it's any consolation, I got the same quote for the invisalign. My teeth movement didn't warrant that much. I had always been in such a quandary why middle age women got braces.... and yet, here I am! I'm not getting braces but my teeth have started shifting. Fingers crossed it doesn't get worse! I've been using baking soda, right, wrong or indifferent, for years because I'm allergic to SLS. I have since found toothpastes without SLS.

Hydrogen Peroxide comes in a spray bottle, which is what I use. I just sprinkle the baking soda on my wet toothbrush, then spray it with the hydrogen peroxide and brush my teeth with it. That's all you need - no toothpaste. It's a good way to restore the PH in your mouth and make it super clean and kill a lot of the bacteria. But then I never use toothpaste anyway, since I use a solar toothbrush called Soladey III. Regular over the counter toothpaste is terrible for you. Read the warning label on it. Yes, warning label. It's awful. Haven't used it for 10 years. The solar toothbrush keeps the plaque at bay, too.

Unfortunately any whitening products make my teeth sensitive, but I found that brushing with EVOO can gently whiten teeth! Not lightening white, but removes most of my coffee stains - it's hard to get to the stains between my teeth.

This could not come at a better time. I sure hope you get this . I 'm waiting for a call from my dental surgeon. I have to have my top teeth pulled out and my bottom teeth 6 out. I will have full false denture on top and a parcel on the bottom. I can't begin to tell you how much I am scared. I remember my mom when she had her teeth taken out. I still can hear her crying and saying how her mouth is so much in pain 💔. I told the surgeon that I had no pain tolerance and he was very kind. I have no choice I have to have this done.

Diane, good luck with your procedure. I know you were probably frightened but I am sure now they have excellent anesthesia for that. Also, you might watch a recent video I have on my channel about the Oralift device. Apparently, when people have teeth implanted or dentures, they can end up looking younger. Some thing about having the implanted teeth helps the facial muscles become better. I can’t really explain the process but you might watch that video as it might be comforting to you. Baking soda is never been a problem, in fact it helps mineralize your teeth. But it is disappointing that peroxide is still the only thing that can effectively whiten teeth, because it causes so much sensitivity!! :-(

Hi, Beth. I had braces on for 3 years as a young adult, and would you believe my bottom teeth have moved in the last year? What a pain. I even had a wisdom tooth removed to try and stop them from moving (not a pleasant experience either. I got a dry socket, and the pain was worse than childbirth). I'll be following along eagerly to see your experience with Byte. I love my Phillips Sonicare too, and I'm going to try your Opalescence with baking soda and peroxide suggestion. Hi Anne. I am so sorry you had that experience with your wisdom tooth! I can’t imagine how painful that must’ve been! I only have three weeks left on my Byte program. In fact, I just switched out my visiliners today and they feel very good. My bottom teeth are nearly almost straight. In three more weeks I know they will be and it is very exciting. I was wondering, after you brush with the baking soda/hydrogen peroxide, do you limit coffee and other foods/drinks that could stain that day or for longer? What foods/drinks do you allow yourself to eat after you use the 15% whitening gel?

Actually, I eat and drink anything I want to. The hydrogen peroxide plus the baking soda and toothpaste just keep the stains down in my teeth pretty white.

Hi Debbie. I can’t believe how much less expensive to Byte program is for braces. They told me for my uppers and lowers it would be $1800 and that they would fight with my insurance if I wanted them to. Meanwhile, my Dennis said it would be 3500 just for the lowers! Ouch!

I would advise folks not to sleep with a whitener in a tray -- I did this with a foam whitener in my Invisalign permanent trays, and overnight it seeped out and got onto my lips. Took several weeks to get over the burns, ouch!!! BE CAREFUL!

Great video. I wanted to share some news I just learned from Dr. Livingood regarding mouth health, and the germs in our mouth can cause alot of problems in our bodies, and he suggested to use hydrogen peroxide in stead of regular mouth wash because it kills germs, and helps people that gums bleed w flossing or brushing. Just wanted to share that w you. Ty for all you share you are a very sweet person God bless you in so many ways.

I had a boyfriend that had the whitest teeth andhe got this by squirting toothpaste in his mouth, 1 cap of perioxide & 1 cap of water. Swish this around for a few seconds and then brush your teeth. I was using the bakiing soda and perioxide for a month or so and the got lazy. I just ordered the the 3 products you talked about and picking up baking soda... Getting back to using it again... I also ordered a BK Beauty foundation brush after watching your video and I LOVE it!! It is absoletly one of the best I have ever used. Def going to invest in some more... Thanks for always keeping us up to tips to be our best!! Your skin is sooo amazing. Unfort from wearing a mask, mine has been broker out for 2 yrs now. Do you have any tips on how to get rid of the spoting I now have from the breakouts? I cannot stop wearing one because I spend a lot of time with my 95yr old mom...

Thank you so much for your nice comments and especially your tip about what your boyfriend does to whiten his teeth! I will have to try that! In terms of fighting hyperpigmentation from brown spots, I have been using a serum called Tranex Dear Serum. It is 5% tranexamic acid and it seems to work to lighten hyperpigmentation. I am so glad you like to be K beauty foundation brush! Her brushes are wonderful and I am using them almost exclusively. I think I may have one or two other brushes I pull in from other sets but her sets are amazing.

I just checked into it. It is 2000.00 I only have 3/4 of my teeth left on the bottom. So l will have to pass on this now. But l am going to use the baking soda and peroxide as well as buy a blue light in the future. Thanks again. 🌼

It didn’t make my teeth more sensitive however it would on someone that has that general problem. For instance, I think my husband really battles that and he would have to go with a product for more sensitive teeth.

Probably wouldn’t hurt. But you use those for a whitening treatment. They are probably too strong to use with brushing.

No, it doesn’t cause pain of any type. Sometimes it kind of fizzes as it’s cleaning your teeth but that’s about it.

That’s terrible Sandra! My dentist said it would cost me 3500 for the bottom only. I think the highest price on these braces it’s just under $2000 for both. It’s pretty crazy how different the cost can be.

Invisable Aligners purchased online turned out to be a nightmare for me and many others. First of all they are NOT comfortable, they are hard to get over your teeth and they hurt. Some aligners come to you made incorrectly so you have to beg them to redo the mistakes. My dentist told me to stop using them because they were messing up my mouth. You don’t see an Ortho In person so you are on your own. It cost me $2000 and It was an awful experience. Full disclosure, I did not use Byte. I can’t name the company because I signed an agreement that I would not disclose the company name in order to be let out of my contract. Think long and hard before you do aligners without an Orthodontist.

I’m so sorry it didn’t work for you. Actually, I had just the opposite experience. They sent me a little file to be able to file down any rough edges of the aligners and I never had to use it. Mine are totally comfortable. I am about six weeks in and my bottom teeth are almost straight. For me they really worked but I am so sorry they didn’t work for you.
