@@dragomilosevic4823 seriously! Im actually about to turn this on and see for myself. Just learned we missed a big gap in our childhood from this 🤣 what else did we miss?! 🤔
Half Life 2 was graphically more advanced at the first place since it was a pc game... heck, it only came out on the original xbox and the next generation so advanced it was.@@mikrofalowkagaming4809
@@CYARA209do i blame them though? Ofc no bc rockstar can't make something swim during those day. But it's just too pathetic (older fps game like half life can actually swim)
Honestly as disappointing as it was.I don't think planes would have been useful anyways. Like it's literally just New York and one airport, what's the point anyways. It worked for games like san Andreas and GTA 5 because it was a whole state with different regions and airports that's why planes just worked there.
That GTA 3 plane was practically unflyable though. And very much on purpuse (look how short its wings are). There are some urban myths as to why that was, the most common one was that they crippled the plane to avoid controversy after 9/11. In reality, Rockstar had trouble optimizing the game for PS2, so they removed rooftops and other scenery features not visible from street-level to lighten the load a bit, that meant plane had to go. Wonder why they didn't remove it entirely though.
fun fact: "The Andromada" which is the plane showcased in this video, is a plane that was unused, and only shown in the mission "Stowaway", that's why the developers didn't make a special animation for getting on it.
@@RomanZ-zy1efbro clearly you can see they have done way more work in GTA San Andreas then any other game from my perspective even they haven't done that much work for GTA 5 then in GTA San Andreas and fun fact they made in two years💀💀 with that engine of 2024 to make this story include side characters gang adding mysteries ahh
@@izcykI would have just added planes because gta 4 is just a game real life should be left out of this hell i don't even fucking know why they were so scared to add them because they would get sued or something else!
@@RomanZ-zy1ef yea but also gta games are copy from real life ,like cars, building, city, so probably the didn't want to add them by people will recreate the incident in game and post it all over the internet , and I dont think that's fine.
@@izcykthat wasnt the reason… Rockstar had trouble with rendering and mentioned the map of GTA IV is too small as compared to the massive maps pf GTA SA and V
The only real reason why gta4 has no possibilities to fly a plane, is cuz the map is too small, the pc and console hardware limitations cannot do more, the game engine boosts realism on cars, but planes need their own gravity calculations. There were also problems on console, and map was too small, you could fly the entire map in 1-2 mins.
you cant drive a plane in gta 4 because it is based on NY and it was supposed to be released after 9/11 so they had to take out flying planes flying plance
in GTA6 she will have to book a reservation 3months in advance and go through TSA and wait in the terminal's gate like everybody else and enter the aircraft via a "boarding ramp" after showing an official boarding pass. and she CANNOT board the aircraft if she's carrying ANY liquid substances over 3.4oz. it's gonna be SO realistic 😏
In GTA 3, Claude gets on the Dodo just like a car. In GTA Vice City, Tommy teleports on the plane. In GTA San Andreas, Some airplanes have doors that open like car doors, some open upwards or CJ opens the door by pulling it. He needs a support to reach big planes. In GTA 4, unfortunately, Niko cannot get on any airplanes. In GTA 5, the doors are the same as GTA San Andreas. The only difference is that the character gets on the big plane by teleporting.
