We've just bought a Leo. Will be scanning art. Interesting to know that we can use iphones to increase the quality of the texture capture. Can i just confirm, that after you have scanned with the Leo, and taken all the photos with the Iphone, will the Artec Studio software automatically match the jpg photos with the scan? No manual work required?
Hi! You'll need to import all photos into your workspace and register them using the Photo Registration algorithm. Once your selected photos are registered, follow the Texturing procedure and apply the newly created photo texture to the model.
Yes, Artec Studio allows you to import scans from other scanners. You can import various file formats, including OBJ files, and then work on them within the software.
