How to get Pirate Legend FAST in Sea of Thieves. 

seriously like yeah falcore is a veteran but 11 hours to get PL? thats crazy

Getting PL is the only thing that will make me feel happy, I love the stuff you can buy in the Athena’s fortune hideout but I can’t stand not having it.

Yeah I wish they would make the PL voyages less long and more fun

you forgot to mention the fact that world events are 80% of the time contested by at least one other player ship, this if you're lucky, because nowadays FoFs are being focused more than ever...

@@yKuroKenshi this was a few months ago, still most people don't care about basic forts and such and a decent amount of the community are willing to form an alliance especially to help new players.

I haven't done it, but I'm pretty sure you only get one grade 5 quest per flag, right? So you can't chain it, you'd have to go and lower the flag and start over again at rank 1.

@@monkeymox2544 yes you get the grade 5 quest, lower the flag, raise again and do the grade 5 quest. By the time you finish the grade 5 quest your flag is at level 5 again.

@@yeye8915 unfortunately I haven't had much time to play but I'm half on each faction with only about 7 or 8 solo forts Completed.. I think maybe 20 forts and ill be close. I get about 20k gold from each fort.

A Pirate's Life just starts you out right next to where you pick it up. They just wanted to really push it, I guess

You need 10 promotions in 3 factions 10 promotions is 50 levels

I just hit level 50 with Gold Hoarders using forts and it only took a week to do. I only did 5 fortresses per day and sold everything at grade 5 emissary.

Definitely the best sea of theives RU-vidr.

Speaking as a new player (well, newish - I played for a few months back in 2020 and have just picked it up again), it seems like enough of a grind. I have a full time job, other hobbies, IRL friends and a partner, I only have a few hours a week to game. It's probably going to take me many months to get to PL. Making games too grindy just makes them not worth it for 90% of people, and that makes them less fun. The grindiness of a game is purely relative, and it's good to strike a balance between rewarding commitment on the one hand, and achievability for the average adult human (some of whom have kids on top of everything else) on the other. I'm not of course saying that adults with other commitments don't have more time - you may be one of them, for all I know - but most people prefer to not dedicate all their time to what is, at the end of the day, a single game. It makes no sense to balance a game on the assumption that most people who play are going to dedicate a large number of hours to it. There's nothing wrong with doing that, of course, but people who have other priorities shouldn't be effectively punished for not playing a game constantly.

I understand why i did it, but im still annoyed at myself for buying the last 10 merchant tiers instead of grinding like a true pirate back in 2018

Yeah PL is literally nothing these days.. we had to do it with no emissaries, or harpoons, or any other food other than bananas, no sovereigns, no captaincy, no fire or blunder bombs, no rowboats, no fishing, no reapers, no chainshots, no shrines or phantom forts, no brigantine, and little to no tall tales. PL now is just a joke unfortunately.

I'm solo it now.

50 in three factions the easiest ones are hoarder souls and merchant, but it can be anything just level 50 in 3 diffrent factions
