This was very helpful. I thought Windstorm with the shuriken thrown would do more damage, since it did in the box breaking minigame in Integrade. Once I followed this, I got rank III immediately. Also, you lost points, because you took damage.

why the game has to come up with this stupid minigames? you just have to keep on smashing buttons in this part because fighting with yuffie sometimes you dont even know what is happening on the screen and besides those little cactuars run all over the screen you dont know what you're doing

I got a little tip that helped me if you dont have an atb bar for windstorm press triangle to throw her shuriken then hold square she will do like a mini windstorm type of attack that I found very useful in this challenge

I did it with 40 seconds left my 2nd try once I realized to use regular attacks. I didnt even have thje right gear. I bet plasma discharge would go insane here

I think I maxed out the score counter at 3000. On top of that I started with 90 seconds and somehow ended with 107 seconds. This was after like three tries spamming widstorm over and over.

Every mini game so far, I just do it several times and can improve each time and 3 star it eventually. This one I just get to the same spot every time, and there is no improvement - I do it just as fast, it seems like I'm going fast, then I get stuck on the giant magic ones with the wonky throwing working like half the time. It'll be working fine, then suddenly wont. I'll throw it, and I'm still melee-ing for 1dmg for whatever reason so I have to retrieve it and throw it again, and even with fire ninjistu the giant magic ones take forever as you have to dodge the explosives too

Either my game is bugged or this is just impossible. No matter how I play iit won’t go over 730 points and the 4th wave doesn’t die

This was my setup: Fire damage up+shutiken mastery on weapon ability. Twin viper, as you said. Any materia that boosts ATB. And spamming windstorm smh lol.

What people should talk about his.. Sure there are some maybe annoying or even too many mini games in rebirth, Compared to Part 1 WHOEVER this creative team that did rebirth has blown my mind with how they made sure this part WAS SO COMPLETELY STORY AND THE WAY THINGS HAPPENED IN THIS SECTION OF DISC ONE is fantastic. Only really taking a few liberty and advantage of updated technology to show you exactly how, region by region, character by character perfectly in sync with the original. My stupid complaint THOUGH WE SHOULD HAVE NONE compared to the first installment, is at the gold saucer.. I WANTED TO GIVE MOG KUPO NUTS LMAO.. SO BAD FOR 40 GP 😂. Especially after the 3rd moogle tree.. Only in core desert after Barrett and dyne.. BUT EVEN CHOCOBO RACING And I guess am OK without the breeding because wow just wow.. but I'm Mr 350 hours by the end on a playthrough in my younger days. Thanks lol

Good guide but may I add some constructive criticism? The audio for the game seems to overpower your voice at times, making it difficult to hear what you’re saying so I’d definitely lower the game audio a bit :)

Idk how everyone else got it after this lol. I still cant score past 1500 or so. I already knew about the physical vs magic, it tells you... its the finnicky as FUCK throwing. I throw the fuckin thing - but im still doing 1 dmg per hit, so I think oh shit, I didn't throw it, so I hit throw again, and I retrieve it - like what the fuck - the magic ones you have to like.. specifically stop fighting. Deliberately throw. Wait. dont fight. Then like start with the ninjitstu. Its too fucking wonky and idk why its not doing ninjitsu half the time when I throw the star.

You got less points because you lose points everytime you get hit also.
