UPDATE: I think the kangaroo or procoptodon might be the best harverster so if you have one try one of them out. Also there are blue flowers in the artifact of the craig cave where you can harvest rare flowers here is an updated video! I tamed a Lvl 150 Procoptodon, levelled Melee and Weight and kicked up those purple flowers. I got a fairly good rare flower harvest so definitely worth trying it out. Just watch its weight... it gathers berries by the bucketload too! 😂
I then after this tamed a roo,took it to red on, didn't get a great deal only about 16 but did all the same,turned out to be an awesome fun tame it jumps about a mile high and just as far,also put tribemate into pouch with crossbow and chased another roo around taking that down,lots of fun to be had with this tame,thank you
I really regret that ASA hasn't expanded the opportunity for growing your own rare flowers or mushrooms. Even if it were slower to grow and/or less abundant than regular crops, I think it would have been a QoL addition.
If you're on singleplayer/unofficial, a gigantoraptor harvests these and can get back and forth to the obs very quickly. I think I got 11 from green ob, so a bit better (maybe) than morellatops
@@Crabbytron i can try the roo, and i think maybe the morellatops is better than the sloth too, i got enough with the sloth but it doesn't seem to align with what you were getting in the video fully
I don't have anything against this map, but it's terrible to get some resources, hard to tame bees, so many problems on official thanks for sharing this info 😸👍

@@Crabbytron From my understanding it was a feature that originally released unintentionally before the Gigantoraptor was out, and then was removed. On launch, I occasionally got extra levels from baby dinos I claimed after the parent was killed (not after claiming them once tamed). This was then removed. It was then brought back with the Gigantoraptor, as when you claim a baby dino you have to play the mini game with it when its in the gigantoraptor saddle to get the bonus levels for it. I haven't gotten bonus levels outside of this method when claiming babies. Since it was removed previously.
on official pve i get like 6 flowers every 5 minutes and thats on 3x easter event rates, with every creature, its bad, i just got 2 beehives and im worried all be farming all the time just to keep them alive
I found out after making this for go to the artifact of the crag cave there are blue glowy flowers in that cave you can harvest with a kangaroo you should be able to get more that way

@@Crabbytron it actually works but i only found one spot, its right after helena note 7 take the left path and before the big room with the water there is a plant i havent seen anywhere, its like a prickly pod on a stalk, i got 168 flowers from like one bush, harvesting the blue and yellow mushrooms on the roo gives tons of mushrooms
It sucks for sure. I put a pinned comment on this video. I made a few errors I would use a procoptodon and also there is a spot in the crag cave where you can harvest with them. Blue flowers in there
I was able to get rare flowers with moschops but doesn't seem any better than anky, which yeah, is pretty disappointing given it's a dino with specific mechanics for this sort of thing -.-
I am not sure I’ve heard mixed things. Someone said they got some near red and others say they don’t exist on the map so at this point in time I’m not sure.
Oh check pinned comment. If you have a roo that will get you more and post this I found some glowy blue flowers in the crag cave a roo in there will get you a bunch of
I mean if you watch it. The video clearly shows that it works. As for research I’m alway continuing and if I miss something which I did in this case. I put pinned comment on this video. Which will states that the kangaroo is a bit better at getting flowers and that there’s some glowy flowers in the crag artifact cave that gets you some more.
Unfortunately ever since the last update there has been a huge nerf in collection on official so it is no longer as much harvesting as it should be. But the roo is best out of the 5 other dinos i tried. It's just really low. About 2 flowers per every 10+ patches
what attack did you use I managed to get 3 with anky. I found this out post video take a kangaroo into the crag cave and there are some glowy flowers you can harvest in there.
