In this episode Anthony Wallace explains how frameworks and referrals work in supported living. He shares some great advice about getting onto frameworks and some different routes to getting referrals. This will be useful for those starting out in supported living but also for property investors to understand how this works.
Anthony Wallace has worked in Housing for over 10 years. During covid he set up a CIC, that was targeted primarily at providing supported housing for male ex-offenders with low to medium support needs. This was in response to an increase in the number of men being released from prison with no fixed abode which resulted in some ending up rough sleeping. This demand quickly grew over the last 2 ½ years and they now house a range of vulnerable adults who have been assessed as needing housing with support. They currently house a mixture of adults with Learning Disability, Mental Health issues, Substance Misuse Issues, single parent families with young children, female and male ex -offenders, Entrenched Rough Sleepers, and individuals with Severe Multiple disadvantages as part of the RSI programme in Nottinghamshire.

Lisa set about discovering why property investors struggle to let their properties to supported living providers and why providers struggle to find property to let. She has been educating people, raising awareness and working on solutions to this problem ever since. Lisa is the host of the Supported Living Property Podcast and RU-vid channel and formed The Supported Living Property Facebook Group.
Lisa is founder of The Supported Living Property Network, a place for property investors and supported living providers to connect, build relationships and communicate about property they have available and/or need.
