How To Get Rid Of Black Spot on iPhone Screen iOS 17.2.1/17.3 (Fixed)

This is literally the funniest thing i have ever seen. Why? 1. Leaving you phone out in the sun can actually further damage the screen, not fix it. 2. pushing on the screen will actually make the ink blot bigger, not remove it. 3. cleaning the screen will do nothing. 4. an update will do nothing if it's screen damage. ( if it's software based, it probably will help) 5. Letting your phone die will be just as effective as 4. 6. Applying heat can actually loosen the adhesive between the body and the phone, also the back glass, forcing you to buy new adhesive from ifixit or something. 7. Rice will do nothing. literally nothing this one is pure BS. It doesn't even work that well for water damage, silica gel packets do much better. Do not believe these kind of videos, they have no idea how to fix this problem, and they're just trying to waste your time and make your problem worse. this comment is directed to people who are possibly not the most tech-savvy, and that's not an insult. I just want to help the people that might be fooled by this. I'm just trying to help, thank you for your time. If you have an ink blot on your screen, it's a smart idea to consult an expert.

At this point, I’m just gonna upgrade to a new phone because I’ve had this XR for idk how many years now and the black dot is small and in the corner but i rather just get a new phone and keep this one as a back up because i rather spend money getting a new phone than replacing the screen on an old one that’s running out of storage and getting late updates. I don’t even know how i got this little spot on the screen but I should’ve kept my screen protector on. I took it off because the top and bottom was cracked badly so I couldn’t really exit out of anything nor text as good and scroll as well.

i do not recommed ! do not press the black dot or use rice. YOUR SCREEN HAS TO BE REPLACED OR FIXED!! your touch on screen will start messing up if u do these steps u might also risk getting green lines on ur iphone :( been there done that

The one about rice got me cringe 😬 -what causes black spots on my screen? -less of the rice 1. Putting my phone in the sun, the heat will make it bigger and it will appear orange lines on it (it might even cause problems for plata in inside) 2.giving a hard press to the screen, it will make more stuck pixels appear ( which causes black spots) 3. Massage a phone, this is literally nonsense if the pixels are already dead, massaging does not make fix them 4.settings. settings are for the phone program, not for its screen bruh 🤣
