We are all dumber for having watched this video. Only good advice is the iCloud backup, which should have been first on the list. Second, take your phone to a repair shop for a new display. Black spots are signs of a damaged LCD or OLED. They cannot be repaired with a software update or restart. And leaving your phone in the sun is a good way to ruin it. Excessive heat can damage your battery, and potentially desolder delicate internal components.

You can't fix dead pixel by software, you mislead your watchers

I dropped my phone in the shower, after laying down in bed I noticed it was a darker shade in the bottom right part of the screen, it was not a solid pitch black spot but more of a shade you can see through. I restarted it and it was perfect again, THANK YOU! I just got this iPhone from insurance after my last one got stolen so I’m glad it’s not a knock off😂. Once again thank you.

I started getting those black spots on my screen a few days ago but when you said to leave my phone in the sun how long do you have to leave it there

How can you suggest to put the phone in sun, if someone puts his phone in direct sunlight it will cause more burn. My iphone recently fell off and got 10*10 cm dot, I thought it will be not going to spread but it’s spreading slowly now it’s way more bigger then the notch. And the reason the dot is spreading in my opinion is overheating because whenever I charge my phone or play pubg the dot increases which is unnoticeable at first glance. So you should never try youtube hacks, if it’s an amoled, you have to replace the screen.

I had my Galaxy s20 ultras screen fix and digitizer it was so bad yet when I picked it up it had a large spot around the front camara yet the store said they had just finshed it and it would go away once the glue dried and happens sometimes. I didn't believe him and even hit record with my other phone in my pocket as he said if it didn't go away then it's a bad digitizer and would have to do it over yet said I would have to pay for the parts only. Well its 8 months and it was 160.00 then for the parts and 50.00 for supposedly labor. I brought it back and told him he's going to pay for it all which ofcourse he said no and I pulled my other phone out played the recording and he just ignored it told me to leave the store as I should have paid 220.00 supposedly for he said the original parts which I never was told he was using cheaper parts yet anyway I had this happen on a iPhone 7 almost same place so for the hell of it I used a tazer and went up and all along the edges of the spot and got it almost completely gone. Now I didn't care as it also was cracked and I was buying another but it did work. I DONT suggest this as I don't remember how powerful it was only that I turned the volts at its lowest. I see people using a lighter and it also worked but anyway if u have a phone you don't really care much about and are tossing it anyway give it a try with the lighter method. I haven't seen any other method that works
