Many many moons ago I kept getting BV from my daughters father. I kept getting the same antibiotics (metro) it would go away and then come back right after sex. I begged the doctor to prescribe him the same antibiotic. We took the dose at the same time and guess what….. no more BV. Doctors will argue up and down that men don’t need to be treated, but from experience I know other wise. If you’re in a long term relationship and think your partner keeps passing it to you, have him ask a doctor for the same meds, or tell him go to a free clinic and tell them his partner has trich (STD) and they’ll give him the 2 grams of metro. They use the same meds to treat BV and Trich.

I actually used plain yogurt, I inserted it using a yeast infection syringe...I had to do it 4-5 days and it cured mine

Also stay away from sugars and starches this contributes to gut imbalances and the acidity of the body with yeast...I found too that sometimes what the issue was..only too much yeast...when I ate too much starches and candies sweets ..this made my ph aweful.. yeast.. looked and smelled just like BV ..when I stopped the excessive starches and cut out sugars the fishy smell stopped altogether!!!..so consider that too

I seriously need help because I’m at my wits end and literally am about to just become celibate and accept that it will FOREVER burn when I pee and that I will always stink no matter how many times I shower a day. I’ve had recurring BV since 2018-alternating between yeast infection. I basically have hated sex since then since I either can’t participate, or I always have yeast 24/7, or it’s just not that moist. I’ve gone months without intercourse b/c of this ( which I think plays a role in why partner cheated). I just deal with it now. Been to 4 OBs, all they do is tell me is my panels are negative, prescribe antibiotics-which do nothing-and repeat. I’d be very surprised if this doesn’t eventually lead to me being sterile or permanent reproductive damage. I tried metronidazole for over a year and it always caused yeast infections. Once i get rid of yeast infection, my cycle would come and there goes BV again afterwards. It was a constant cycle even with me taking probiotics and things to try and get some good bacteria in while i was taking antibiotics. Boric acid doesn’t work and i just don’t like the idea of sticking food up my vagina. I tried everything and feel helpless at this point.

Go to the er tell them you think u may have a uti and then when they take you in to be seen tell them you also would like to be tested for a vaginal infection and they will do a urine and swab test. U can also ask to be tested for stds. If you get prescrubed antibiotics wait until you are done taking them and if u still have any itching or doacomfort then try the boric acid

I even after boric acid pills was getting it right after about 2 to 3 days later...YONI pearls inserted and YONI detox vaginal steam actually stopped the BV for me...I am actually going on 3 weeks with no odor and full confidence!!!
