I hope this worked for you. I am tired of trying to get rid of the nasty things. I don’t have them on my orchids but many of my succulents do have them. Someone brought me several succulents from another state last year. There was not a mealy bug on them (that I could see). So after a couple of months I broke up one of the collections and planted them in a couple of large planters. It was after that they began showing up. I have tried all the different types of chemical free methods but they keep coming back no matter how many times I treat them. I am going to try a systemic treatment next. The problem is that they get down in the media and when the crawling stage starts they cannot even be seen by the naked eye. Keep up the attack. I’ve never had a bug infestation before and they are really getting to me.
I can totally relate! These pests are relentless. For me, I have chalked it up as a part of growing orchids. Now, I don’t even get upset, I just make my little solution and clean ‘‘em up. Lol! Don’t let them win! You got this!
Hi! Sorry for the delayed response! I use 1 tbsp of Neem oil extract to 2 tbsp of Castile soap and then fill the rest of the bottle with warm water. I hope that helps! 🙏🏾
