I still have sewer gas smell in one sink. I'll try your method, but not sure just running water will do the trick.

How do I get sewer smell out of drinking water the water comes out of the top of the sinks smell like sewage water

I have the same issue - but it's a daily occurrence. Wouldn't a daily shower in theory fill the trap? If so, what would be the cause of a recurring odor - defective p trap?

@@laerciodovalejunior4871 yes - the "stink pipe" or vent on the roof of our home was clogged; had a plumber come out, get on the roof, use a camera to identify the clog and then snake it. All better now, hope this helps.
