First off, NOTIFICATION SQUAD!! 10k my friends, this is crazy! I wanted to share my thoughts on a big question I get asked. Also, feel free to comment below if you'd like me to do a camp near you! I just want to get a general idea where to go to and I'll try to get the ball rolling! This is it guys. We're heading back to the university soon. Coach Javi.. some of the best advice I have seen coming from a coach. Love that you emphasized grades... as someone who lost out on potential track/field opportunities due to not so great grades despite being one of the best in my state and the USA (a long time ago), I can assure kids today it is even more important today than it was 20 odd years ago to have not just good grades, but top of the class grades. It is unreal how many 4.x+ kids are competing in sports today. I have seen kids with 4.5 GPAs and good athletic ability get passed up, so for sure in the low 3.x range is going to be difficult at best even if you are a stand out athlete. There is just too much competition today.

Congratulations Coach Javi, don't be surprised about the 10k subscribers your content is by far the most informative and helpful to all the athletes that are always looking to better themselves in and out the pitch!! My 7 year old can spend hours watching your training sessions and wanting to do them. I must say the finishing drills have helped him to develop and think more with the ball. I would love to attend a camp we are in the Los Angeles area you shouldn't have a problem filling spots for a camp out here. As far as the channel goes keep doing what you feel is good for the channel it seems to be working you are at 10k for a reason I enjoy the content. Thanks for everything.

Coach Javi, The reason why you should do a camp in Washington is because we have a lot of good talent. Portland is known for the soccer city of the PNW and Washington doesn’t get that much recognition, but we are up there with any other state. I believe that having a camp in Washington would greatly impact us as players and also show us that we have a chance to make it to the big leagues. In my city of Longview Washington, we used to have all these club teams up to high school but now they only go to about middle school then stop. I found soccer and fell in love but the place that I live in doesn’t have much opportunity to grow and go big so having a camp in Washington would be good for our soccer program today and for the future.

coach javi, i absolutley love what you do, i love your channel. i love the idea of doing camps and i believe that a great place to do one would be here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. everywhere you go, you find people who live and breathe soccer and itd be so easy to find a good amount of players for a camp here. please take this into consideration

What college do you coach for?

Just found your channel yesterday and waking up to this video was a great way to start my day! Coach Javi, quick question. At the end of the video you mentioned how you want to do a camp somewhere near us. Would this camp be a player's training camp or a coaches' training camp? I ask this because I am also a soccer coach (kids call me Coach R haha) with lil kickers and seasonal with After School Matters and Chicago Park Districts, and I'd love to be part of a coaching training camp! I notice that you live in Illinois and perhaps near the Chicagoland area, so hopefully Chicago or a nearby suburb will be your closest spot to run this camp! Thanks!

Aurora, Colorado Coach Javi I watched this video because I am a freshman in high school and I wanted to get a tip on how to get my name out there. I was told by my coach this year that I am for sure getting JV next year and if it came to me being good enough to get scouted, I wanted to know how to do it. New Hampshire. I also have a question about that example of an email you wrote (not your template). I just recently attended an ID camp down in Massachusetts and they informed the players a lot about college recruitment. They mentioned that your introducing email should be short and sweet and informing the coach a little about yourself and when your upcoming tourneys are. Also it should include your highlight video obviously. But what I am getting at, is that I was informed that these coaches receive hundreds of emails in a week and you do not want to bore them on telling them about their team and where you can fit in. Also, I was informed that unique ways in reaching out to coaches such as writing letters to them instead of emailing them will grab their attention more and be interested in you more. Let me know about your opinions on this and by the way, this video was just what I needed so keep up the good content!

I'm very interested in your camp idea. If you were to come to North California, I'd definitely attend it. I'm from Santa Rosa, California. Nearest city well biggest city is San Francisco its a 45 minute drive. Sacramento is 1 hour and 30 minutes away. You should definitely try to come to some part of North California you would catch me there with no hesitation. I want to be able to meet you, ask you many more things, write notes, and soak in the drills so I can implement in my everyday trainings. Thanks coach javi, you're doing great with this channel.
