I think the best option would be to use tide the only problem is that it takes out the color from the actual fabric I have a light brown sweatshirt with sharpie on it and idk what to do cause it might drain the color

Respectfully, your cleaning technique is incorrect. A stain is tackled from back to front (the side that was stained). Put white paper towel, towel, or clean rag/cloth on a surface. Turn the item so the stain side is on the towel or such. From the back, now the up-side, blot the stain to work it down & out to the side it was stained from. Never rub, because that forces & grinds the stain into & around the cloth or other thing & into a larger area, making removal more difficult, if not impossible. And it often causes pulling on cloth. First, check the care label to see what can be used on a fabric or item & methods to use or not use to clean. Do not start with hot water or heated things, so no dryers or ironing until all possible is done to remove the stain. If water is okay on the item, let water from a faucet flow thru the stain from back to front/stained side down or tauntly clothes pin or band the item over a bowl or bucket & pour water or other liquid remover thru the fabric. This is best when the stain is fresh & after removing any debris, gunk, etc in the stain. But first scrape off & blot up everything possible -- liquid, oil, grease, wine, pee/feces, etc. The things you tested are valid for non-marker stains

Unfortunately your experiment is flawed from the get go as to remove permanent marker you need to have an absorber under the stain/fabric such as paper towel or a cleaning cloth to draw the stain from the clothing into the cloth. Obviously with your fabric stapled to a board you can’t do that! Not only that, you mention the bleaching to the clothes but this wouldn’t occur with the peroxide or alcohol had you not allowed it to sit too long and/or dry on the fabric before washing, again this can’t be done whilst stapled to board! Lastly, don’t bother with 3% supermarket peroxide, use 6% (pharmacy or hair supplies shop). Also alcohol does work on sharpie permanent markers but it must be a minimum of 90% pure grade, so commercial hand sanitiser or kids rubbing alcohol with multiple other ingredients in it also, isn’t going to cut it (so hardware store or nail supplies shop). Lastly, results truly cannot be compared until the garment has been washed and dried to remove residue.
