HOW TO GET OUT OF MAKER´S END WITHOUT FAST TRAVEL: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ez5a0GUzCHo.html A lot of people seem to have an issue not being able to fast travel out of the tower, so hopefully this will help you.
Hey I found a more consistent way instead of walking that far just go to the other side next to the hole and walk back in forth over the hole and you'll get it then much faster I found. Idk if this helps
Just started, heard about it but didn’t find it interesting 🤷🏾♂️. Now it’s currently one of my best single player games I’ve played, n I barley play them lmao. Guess I judged it too early 😂
It's my first time playing the game. I just want to say thank you. I finally got the armor. One thing that I have never expected to be tedious is the process of getting to these locations. I nearly got heart attack sneaking and running from those huge machines.
I am heading for the 4th cell, and literally sneaking or running from campfire to campfire. I'm now trying to stealth past the stalker patch in the mountains.
Same here. I only just reached level 11, and have to get 2 power cells: the GAIA Prime one, and the Maker's End one. Currently, I'm trying to find ways to either defeat or sneak past the machines at the bottom of The Bitter Climb, geez that's tough on level 11! However, I'm having a lot of fun trying! :)
Make sure to change into outcast outfit in order to slip into grave hoard hole and ascend in GAIA prime without ladder, somehow this outfit will make a better chance to success. Also this video should include how to revisit all mother mountain in case you missed the power cell on the first chance after the proving (the main gate is closed after the event). Also need to remind everyone that journey into grave hoard and GAIA prime would be the most dangerous area as we are early accessing area with lot of machines crawled in groups and remember that we are currently at early level (health and weapons), so be sure to prepare some healing potions handy and quick save the game whenever pass by a campfire. Thanks so much for this video guide.
Also one last thing, don't forget to mention that when you are in Carja territory, not to interact with anything... It can brick your playthrough. So when in Carja territory, ONLY focus on getting power cells and then LEAVE territory once power cells are in hand. This is for those who used the exploit to climb around invisible wall to cross the border.
What do you mean interact?. I used campfires does that count?. I also looted a few chests and was spotted by quite a few enemies, can you be more specific please?
Working on PS5 as of July 2024. A Note on Gaia prime, while you are scaling up towards the right, you do need to wiggle left just a little bit. I found another tip that said to pull out your bow and look down at your feet and that worked a lot faster than looking upwards for some weird reason. This is a great video! Thank you so much for sharing with us
Still works on PS5! One thing you didn't mention (maybe I missed) is how fucking scary it is getting to these places! I went from obliterating watchers in the embrace to shitting it trying to dodge past all those crazy monsters I'm not yet prepared for. After 7 hours im level 9 and now just "beginning" my journey with my Shield-weaver armour! Horizon is one of the few games I haven't played and after seeing how great Forbidden West looks I had to try this game out! Thanks for the guide much appreciated !
Hahah I had to change my game setting to easy. For the 4th power cell there was some insane shit on the trail. Invisible watchers, those bird machines and red eye watchers. Lol to name a few
Still works 2022. It was exhilarating. Gg to those who got it. Getting the 4th was hardest tho. Just a headsup to those who are planning on getting it, I dont know how other guys did it.. but for me there was a cut scene where storm bird appeared. Tried to fight it but nope, it one shotted me . U cant do "restart last save" cuz it apparantly autosaves at that cut scene. So if u see it, RUN LIKE HELL, run in zig zags, dodge constantly and run towards the ruins. It goes away at a point. Edit: Just completed the whole game.I played it in hard and lemme tell u this, NEVER died in a combat for the rest of the game thanks to the armor.
During my first playthrough of the game, i went exploring and didn't know there was a stormbird there nor that there were ruins so i fought it off and it depleted my resources by the end. Then later i found out that you have to go to Gaia Prime anyway for a quest and tried running past the stormbird and it worked. I was so pissed off at myself for fighting that bird at an earlier level when i could've just ran away. 🤦🏻♀️
@@emmanuelmacias2702 which ones? The wall at the entrance The ruins of GAIA prime? Well... The bumps on the walls actually helps you to climb up. So try jumping in their directions. That might help.
@@sabrenight lol. Happens. I thought I had to fight it too... Got it depleted like one fourth of its health(didnt knew its mechanics nor had the equipment), at at point it went high up and fking dove on me. Got one shotted. When I got respawned, same encounter started and it scared the shit out off me. Later ran away from it and it worked. But the armor is soo worth it tho. Never died in a combat for the rest of the game.
@anuragbs2868 I recommend you get it. If you see that it is not fun playing with it, just unequip it and wait until the game gets hard. When it gets hard you can use it.
I can confirm that this still works as of May 9 2021, took me all of 1.5 hours to accomplish. and when sneaking into the Carja territory you can use campfires to save your progress if needed, I did it to get the Gaia Prime and it didn't mess up anything in my regular playthrough. Thank you @Elkajaer TV for the video it was informative.
Well, according to canon, Aloy doesn't use the armor as-is but works it into some Nora clothing. The Nora people don't wear helmets as such, so it seems she just tossed it. Besides women don't generally like what helmets do to their hair, and we all know how Aloy is about her hair...
Very good tips, thanks a lot. 12:48 I feel it would be helpful for noobs like me to add that you need to do a sprint-jump when jumping up to the entrance of Gaia Prime. This lets you jump higher.
This and the video on the locations of the unique mod coils/weaves are the two most useful guides I’ve seen on this game. Nice and clear views of the locations where you have to go and very specific detailed instructions on what to do and how to do it, all in a video less than a half hour long. Thank you sir!!! Well done.
@@Z.DeAllen Yes sir, confirmed on PC. That's what I'm playing it on, with xbox controller and with regular mouse and keys. You're GOOD to GO! Just remember to save every bonfire even if its 200m out of the way on the way up so when you hit 30 you can immediately go for the DLC God-weapons. Not to mention most of your main quest you have to complete to a point and half the errands and what not are going to be using those bonfires. I think his "Best weapons of 2021" explain that on, and then his or someone elses "how to farm purple mods (from an errand) should be in the recommended on this video, both are really helpful. (Edited to add relevant information for 'C. E. DeAllan' + helpful stuff for him and anyone reading this.)
June 26th. On PC I get the falling animation with Aloy spreading out her arms in the air but can't drop through the hole. Edit... Just dropped through using a method on Reddit where you need to use a vault animation to get over the rock to the left of the hole and drop into it.... Yay
@@okandis The armors shielding capacity was nerfed in all difficulties except for easy. It could take a ton a punishment before, but now just 1 t-rex hit on hard will break the shield. It used to take 3 average.
@@DVZ000 Well the armour must have been *massively* op before then because I just finished a play-through the other day (on normal) and managed to kill a Stormbird using only the lance! Once the SB landed I just stood under it, hitting it with the lance (thus stopping it from taking back off), and if it managed to get any hits in the armour easily had chance to recharge between them anyway. On normal difficulty at least Aloy is still pretty much invincible.
Thank God..and you man..I started at level 7, never played this before, so it was a very great adventure travelling through the mist so to speak, scared as a mouse and weak as one but making it! I felt like the hobbits crossing the plains of Barad-Dur! Thanks!
Thanks for the guide! 7:12 Just got through the hole now (december 8th / 2023), after 7 tries in Steam Complete Edition Version. Moving the camera to look down helped a lot to get the timing right. So it still works!
Can avoid the Stormbird spawn by going to the far left of that climb, there is a snowy slope. Keep to the right edge of that slope next to the rocks. Go as far up as you can then ease toward the east to get into the last area. You can grab the Vantage Point while in the area.
At Gaia prime I actually found it easier to aim the camera down when jumping up the cliff face. Tried aiming the camera up and failed about 6 times. Aimed it down and did it straight away.
I tried Elk advise and it worked after several attemps ,not too many to discourage me at all but I took your advise into consideration just in case Elk´s didn´t work.
Thank you so much. As of July 2024 this still works (PC). Had a little bit of trouble with getting through the rocks. Took me about 20 minutes of trying with the outcast armor ofcourse. Then at Gaia prime it took some time tries as well. But it did work. The hardest part was having to dodge the plethora of machines that stood between these places. Specially the flying ones.
Excellent tutorial! I was level 8 and had never played the game before and I managed to obtain this armor with your help. (and a lot of patience) Thank you! (Yes, it was terrifying for a noob, but FUN!)
Dude, even for a seasoned player, I still feel the sense of danger when you see the exclamation point blinking and the sound rising. Goes to show how great this game is.
After the cutscene I just ran and hid in the metal scraps cos I kept trying to get that jump and I wasn’t about to kill the storm birds multiple times. But I STILL can’t get the last bit of the jumps it’s so frustrating
You could’ve avoided it , the campfire before the storm bird has glinthawks , watchers and a scavenger . You simply run along the left side of the mountain and climb. Once you’re over the mountain you skip the storm bird encounter lol
This was a really interesting process. I was hesitant to try it first, but I ended up doing it just for fun and it was challenging (trying to not get killed especially by those flying monsters) but otherwise it was fun lol had to find every campfire on the way so I can save. My only issue was that I started this after leaving the mother's watch area (and the place got locked) so I had to look for another guide to find my way back in then I finished everything else by the help of this video. Amazing guide btw! Thank you.
Same. I need to get the last power cell and then I'll be finished. I feel like Bilbo Baggins going on a venture lol! It's been fun and rewarding experience. It feels unique and have no regrets.
A glitch is inconvenient and can retract from the experience. An exploit is very convenient and often enhances the experience. Getting that armor when it's most useful (when you have no skills or high health) is quite the exploit. Thank you.
Wow it really worked as I am level 38 and needed that Shield power armor. The Gaia prime jump glitch works just as you mentioned. Got it on second try as first I nearly got it and pushed too far to the right and fell starting back to the Vantage point. For mother's watch re-entry since it's closed I had to use a strider to traverse the left side rock wall from the closed entrance to the top until mount can no longer go forward then dismount and continue climbing upwards to the left towards the back side gate and continue at the top until you start going down nearing the entrance to the mountain. Drop down from on top of the entrance with the logs and inside you go for the power cell.
Thanks for taking the time to record this video it's extremely helpful. I was a little higher in level when I got the armor. I can say this as of 12/28/21 all of the exploits still work. It took a few day for me to exactly get the armor due to real life events like working and sleeping but I can say I finally got the armor thank you again for your time.
Can confirm, still works (grave-hoard section), did get a floating animation a few times but got it after a minute. As of 12/30/21 Edit: So does GAIA prime, didn't make it look nearly as easy as this vid, but eventually got it. Final Edit: All is good, got all five cores, just gotta grab the armor. No update after this means it worked. Will update otherwise.
December of 2023 and it still works, a lot of running and hiding from everything when you still low level....but I works man. Was able to get mine at level 14 😊
So I watched the walkthrough until the puzzle. It felt so satisfying after hours of traveling and even after five or so minutes of playing with the puzzle, to FINALLY receive this armor, still works as of 02/07/2023. Thanks for everything, great channel!
I just finished doing all your steps and just waiting to unlock the armor. It's my first playthrough of the game but since I heard you say that we get this almost at the end of the game I decided to get it early. Its been a blast going everywhere just to get the power cells and I appreciate you for doing this video. Thanks!
I'm glad you wrote this because I was just wondering if I was about to ruin my first playthrough by jumping ahead to the armor... But I agree. I never like it when devs give you something really cool when the game is practically over, then you don't get to play with it.
This guide helped me alot. Although its my first time playing, i had a difficulty at first getting to Gaia Prime because of the Stormbird boss and i was playing at Ultra Hard difficulty 😂 still works until today. Thanks bro
What's the point of playing on "ultra hard" if you still glitching to the best armor in early game? On one side you want to have an "ultra hard" experience but on the other side you use the best armor to make it easier. You should do the first play-through the normal way (maybe just on hard) and with "New Game+" you can have the Shield-Weaver from the beginning.
Thank you for such a detailed review. I decided to use this when so many storm birds started attacking. I was not sure it will work or not, but kept going. You explained it amazingly and very clearly. I followed the exact steps and was able to access all the locations ( I was already on Seeker at the gates quest, so Kaja border was open for me - hence did not try that invisible wall )
This guide was amazingly helpful thank you! I had a lot of difficulty slipping into the hole at Grave-Horde but with enough effort and following exactly what you said i made it :D
Thank you for the superb step-by-step instructions on how to get this cool armor for Aloy. I know this Armor doesn't have slots so I used a mod to give it 4 slots so it would take all the Resist Corruption Weave (Elemental), Resist Fire Damage Weave (Elemental), Resist Freeze Damage Weave (Elemental), Resist Shock Damage Weave (Elemental), Resist Melee Damage Weave (Physical), Resist Ranged Damage Weave (Physical), and Stealth Weave. Talk about Super OP. 😁
Amazing guide! Just did this today on my first playthrough of the game. Followed all instructions and got it done quite easily. Thanks so much for your effort 😀
Thanks man, I didn't want to wait until the very end of the game for this armor. The GAIA Prime cell was my biggest issue and this solved it perfectly.
@@zhugzug just try it bro I tried it countinously for 3 hrs took a few breaks but at lasttt got it in the end it seems impossible but believe me u can do it,I did it a week ago just the day I posted my previous comment before
Worked as of December 2023. Cheers mate, it was a hell of an adventure just to get the armour but everything worked exact as you described. You will fall through the crack at the grave but it took me 20-30 minutes.
I can say without hesitation that your channel can be summed up in one word: superb. Many thanks for all your excellent tips. I can't believe it's taken me so long to get into this game, but what a ride!
Thanks for this. I had a heck of a time getting to Gaia Prime but once I did, I just followed the path you set out here and got right to it. I had some trouble jumping up the wall without a ladder there, but I never fell all the way back down and just making minute adjustments I finally got up and got the power cell. I've already done Maker's End so heading to pick up the armor now....again, thanks!
@@Dullileinwithout the ladder it's a real trick, but eventually, if you keep making small adjustments, you'll make it up there. After you do the quest, there's a ladder there but without it, you just need to keep moving very slight moves over and try again. Take a close look at the frame around 13:41 where it shows you the target. Then once is starts to work KEEP JUMPING! Otherwise you'll slip back down. This was a pain for me to but after I got this I was able to return to claim the armor. That armor makes a HUGE difference in surviving the game early on.
Excellent guide, thank you. Normally these days when I replay HZD I do a NG+, so this isn't an issue, but now and then I actually do feel like starting completely over, and this works 100%! I also have to say this was among the easiest to follow and understand in terms of clarity and direction compared to most exploit/glitch guides I've ever seen, so again... very well done! ^_^
Still works November 2023. Ty. Getting to those locations in the first play through on very hard is absolutely insane tho. Possible but man there are some dangerous beasts. I actually recommend you don’t do this if it’s your first go. you are taking away from the mystery a little.
On ps4, it's an amazing tutorial. The only part I really had difficulty was climbing the wall. Just be patient and keep up the grind. You don't know how many times I died trying to get this armor, but it's totally worth it. 10/10 recommend
Just gonna let everyone know. When you're trying to get the Grave-Hoard & GAIA Prime Power cell, make sure you have the Outcast outfit equipped. As soon as I switched to that outfit, I got it done on the first try
@@leandropeanuts That happened to me as well. A lot of times, even with the outcast armor equipped. With the outcast armor, it is a lot easier to get through it though
Came back to like and subscribe. This is a well thought out, excellent presented and superb guide. Really awesome work man. Got the gravehoard quest next, so I'll hit that for the last cell and grab the armour. Legend!
I can verify this works on pc 1/26/23. Thank you for the amazing guide!!! Also like most people, I was very disappointed that the armor we "picked up" doesn't match what Aloy wears :(
for the 4th power cell for gaia prime, after getting to the top of the mountain where the vantage point is I ran into a cutscene before fighting a boss stormbird. Just an fyi if anyone wasn't prepared for it
So I was trying your exploit for Gaia prime and getting into carja territory to try to get into mothers watch and inadvertently stumbled on to where the proving battle is. Even managed to climb some parts of the metal devil. Died before I could overcome the invisible wall due to falling to my death, but I was literally right above the entrance to all mother
Save your game before trying each exploit, in case you get trapped. All three tricks worked perfectly for me on PS4 with HZD Complete Edition. The only problem was that the game did not allow me to fast travel away from Maker's End at the top of the tower, and I could not find any survivable way to ground level while the top elevator door was still closed. Fortunately I was able to load a saved game from before trying the mount-through-the-wall trick.
@@120382brian If I remember correctly I tried again from the save point and something in the building triggered better to let me get down safely. Or maybe the fast travel worked on the second attempt. I can't quite remember the details now. I think probably the fast travel just randomly worked the second or third time.
Thanks I’m on the last mission but I’m doing side quests to level up because I’m awful at this game but this video was really helpful even though every area is unlocked for me . This is easy to follow and very well explained awesome video you earned a sub
Very helpful guide. I just wanted to add a note for anyone going to the tower. Maybe it was just something I did wrong, but I went to the tower at Makers End I count fast travel, and if you haven't done the quest the doors that let you get down won't open. I had to go back to the elevator shaft then hang over the door at the bottom that is above the other door you originally came through. Then all you have to do is let go of the edge and push forward so you will go through the door and not fall to your doom. Like I said it could have just been me missing something, but hopefully this helps anyone who got stuck.
I love this kind of stuff. I literally only did this myself because of all the cool tricks that were implemented. I didnt really feel that getting the armor early would be a major deal but, simply because people put in so much work to find these short cuts, tricks, exploits and glitches... I had to do it myself just out of respect for the people who did the research. THANKS for the video. amazing stuff!
About Gaia prime. The cell is there like promised. Also about the crouching and jumping on the edge. If you jump too much to the right you can still adjust to the left while spamming jump.
Thank You for guiding and presenting things so accurately. At first I thought I am gonna need a lot of time doing these glitches but I followed exactly what you said and got glitches done in seconds. The trick to Reach the edge in GAIA PRIME is to only use jump instead of Shift jump if you use shift jump the camera will show aloy but if you just use jump it will take hardly 15seconds , I got it in the first attempt.
Thanks man haven't played this game since it came out and I was always stuck on this I'm 21 now and I'm as happy as I was playing this game all those years ago, much love man thanks again 🔥❤️
Try it ! No sorry, DO it! Thank u for this Tutorial. I got this armor today. Took me a few hours longer but i Made it a day 💪🏻 Hope u all get it too guys. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪 Edit: I completed this Game rn (1day later) It was a wonderful experience 😢
I've done it the hard way on my first play through . I tried this method on new game + because I thought I'll get an even stronger armor . The method in this video still works as of March 2024. But if you already have the armor from your first game You won't get any stronger.
@robertdavidson5903 It worked immediately on my first try but I jumped instead if using the zip line in lost. On the second time it took me few tries and happened like you said But eventually worked again
@@Natsusal When you first jump to the right Try to then jump to the left And keep tapping Don't stop unless you feel you're gonna fall off the cliff Then stop and try again
So glad I kept reading the comments when you hit Gaia make sure you put on the OutKast outfit. I sat there for 20 minutes jumping wondering what the French toast was going on
@@princehenry9136 This is actually my first playthrough! I've owned the Steam port for years but haven't had a chance to get around to playing it until recently. Almost done but I only play through games once and move onto another, so I won't be doing NG+.
It seems that for Grave Hoard, you want to stop over the hole at a very slight angle, otherwise Aloy's feet tend to stop over the (hidden) collision mesh. It seems to help to have the camera toward the wall side when you do it.
Man.. this was like 1 of those accomplishments that 99% of the world won't understand.. lol thanks to everyone! That little twist did me in on try # 3 lol !!
@@troyclookey2327 Congratulations, I'm glad you got it, the rock climbing is gonna be a bitch tho, put on the Nora armor you get, it worked after I put that on

I just got the last power cell at GAIA Prime. I was about level 7 when I started looking for the last 3 power cells, and now I'm level 16. Very happy about that! :) Great video, thanks.
@@Bruh_Moment.. it probably not patched I doubt the developers give a damn about the game anymore, considering a new one has been released. Do as the video creator says and it’ll happen eventually. It’s very specific🤷♂️ and make sure you’re at full health while trying as the first time I made it through I fell to my death and had to do it over 🤬
When trying to go into thr grave hoard it took me a while to do it but I eventually did when my weapon was drawn. Not sure if its a thing but I think it helped.
2024 update, it works! But you have to keep trying until she eventually gets up, thanks for this video man! Having the armor early in this game is worth it!
I really wonder how many hours you've put into this game. I have 250 and am still discovering little edges of the map I've never been to. Your Ultra Hard playthroughs were very helpful in getting through more difficult sections of the game.
Each one of the tricks are found by separate people and the information has just been past on to the speedrun community without knowing where who found them. Would like to know so I could shout them out.
