I am very desperate for anyone to upload anything about dishonored. You sir, are a fish Edit: I didn’t know anyone would get my “you sir, are a fish” due to have out of context it was hahahah
I plan to do more varied content and become one of the top dogs for gaming in general, but I'll definitely return to Dishonoured in the future just for you!!
actual underrated; dishonored is one of the best games imo. It shows so many good features and even if its 12 yrs old; it has a style that makes it feel so nice.
If the bolts above the enemies head does not turn red and "break", they have not spotted you yet. White means they think they might have saw something and if you get out of sight, they'll look in they direction in which they saw you briefly, mostly not leaving their path, and say something like, "must have been the wind," and return to walking their scripted path. White with red outline means they saw someone, but they don't know it was you necessarily. Civilians will do the same as the last level and guards will draw their sword, leave their path, be on alert (walking around looking for you nearby and around objects), for a set amount of time depending on the difficulty, and then eventually sheath their sword and return to their scripted path if they do not find you. If the bolts turn red and look like they break and fade away with a sudden unnerving audio cue, they have spotted you. This level is the only level that counts as being spotted and is the only level that will cause you to fail ghost. In this level, civilians that spot you will flee, hide, and may or may not return to their scripted path later on. In this level, you will also be attacked unless you escape immediately, but they will remain on alert indefinitely (or at least a really long time). When they are on alert, enemies spot you easier. The only exception that is really annoying is the assassins. If they get to level 1, they look in that direction for a disturbing amount of time. Level 2, they will instantly teleport to you and almost always spot you. Of course, I think everyone understands level 3. Also, in the first mission at Coldridge Prison, the guards overlooking the water after you jump off the bridge almost never actually spot you as long as you are actually under the water until you reach the bank to go into the sewers. Even if the audio cue plays, most of the time it is just due to a bug with the escape score that plays. All and all, this was a wonderful playthrough and I commend you for doing an even harder challenge then required. I thoroughly enjoy the game, and subsequently, this video.
Wow! I didn't know the system was THAT in depth... nor did I know I made the challenge 10x harder than it should've been haha. Thank you for the insight and the kind words!!
The 2 weepers you can knock them out easily without powers, after you peek the corner the male one runs to the tunnel, but you can dart the lady without the man seeing. Then you can exit the sewers the way you came and reenter it in the hatch next to the hounds pit pub, on the street part
From what I remember those 2 weepers are fine to be noticed by as it isn't considered a mission. at least i hope so and I haven't failed ghost run already
Hey sorry I forgot about this comment but something to say is that I didn't fail the achievement but to get it I did what you said but you can dart them both. Depends on the difficulty but it will take them time to detect you after he runs around back to the area where the lady is. Shooting a dart fast enough will get you undetected
Bruv, as a massive Dishonored fan, having watched so many RU-vid vids, this is so fresh. Love it. And having recently finally nailing a ghost run it's sweet to see a pro at it. Subbed
Thank you so much!! I'm so glad to hear that, you're definitely giving me way too much credit, I'm far from a pro haha!! Appreciate having you here, thanks for watching!
With the house party mission (my personal favourite) you can talk to a miss white (has a moth head mask)and she tells you 2 of the identities and by then talking to the scarecrow man you can easily work out which lady is which. Great video, good to see some dishonored love
Damn I did not know that, I was always so caught up in having to find the notebook that I never actually focused on what everyone had to say. Appreciate the strat, happy you enjoyed!!
@@aadamjaveedkhan Yeah you have to get her a drink. Also if you write your name in the book you get a gift from the sisters when you get back to your room. I can't remember if its if you kill her or not but its really funny either way.
your content is AMAZING BRO,i have been playing dishonored since i had it for years in my steam library and i was searching for some good and entartaining videos, this is easily a 13/10 video
Ayyy thank you so much!!! We'll definitely be returning to dishonored in the future, but be sure to check out some of the other vids too!! I'm grateful to have you here TY
On the last mission, if you swim to one of the rocks in the sea just after you get off the boat, with a bit of fiddling, you can blink onto the top of it and just walk up the metal guideline thing right to the top, bypassing most of the level.
Oh shi? I found out about just how much freedom the game gives you in that final mission when having to manoeuvre around everyone, and this definitely crossed my mind! Appreciate you letting me know about this, I'll have to try it out!!
This is actually my favorite way to play these games. Except I also don't use powers or touch anybody whether it's knocking them out or killing them unless it's part of the main quest.
I'm happy to hear that! We all have games that got us through certain times, I'm grateful I was able to present Dishonored in a way that lives up to your experience! Appreciate you being here!!
Oh hey i did that too a lot of years ago when i got Dishonored 2 (went back and finished 1 the same way), both of them were really time consuming to do it this way. I actually did manage to never be seen in either of the main games, but i never managed to finish the Death Of The Outsider DLC without being seen because of that level by the end where you are in the void with those tall monsters and a lot of corrupted people. Shame. But also, that was the only game i played all these games, which really isn't recommended imo i dunno why i did that. I would have way more fun playing the game normally, killing everyone
Lmao, I thought the same thing, stealth games are fun to be played like this but sometimes you wanna see how crazy things can get haha. You should go back and do Death of The Outsider! It'll feel so good to have all 3 under your belt, I'm rooting for you!!
The most impressive thing I've done in a videogame is getting ghost, clean hands, and mostly flesh and steel in the same run. Played a ton on console and did the achievements there, and again when I got the game on steam! Not an easy run, even when you know the game well, but it was a lot of fun
Ok Javeed: Minimal knockouts, no spots just like this. I think the total of REQUIRED knockouts is like... 3. It's completely possible to avoid that alleyway in the pendleton brothers mission
Ideally 0 bodies(absolutely unnecessary) would be found for a hit man run. Otherwise, it's just a ghost run with extra quick loads. Glad to see a new Dishonored challenge runner. ✌❤️
The 3 lines don't mean uve been seen it means they are going to look because they think they heard or saw smth so u can still get the ghost achievement. Great video btw, its a pleasure to see Dishonored get love these days!
I did this with Emily in the sequel. My only advice is: -Save scumming IS needed -Dogs aren't counted as kills -Check the stats often, to see if someone saw you or you killed someone accidentally
I've done the whole game without killing anyone. Except that, in the last mission, I placed a sleeping guy on a rafter and later he fell xD Had to redo the mission.
In the beginning u could have climbed the bridge that was being lifted up by staying next to the door that had the bomb andkept running towards the door and jump fast
Honestly, this is how I beat dishonored 1 on all difficulty levels (I love this game and I've played it probably 20 times), I thought that the mere appearance of this indicator means that I was detected :D (P.S. in dishonored 2, I already knew that this is not the case)
Appreciated the gameplay but this was just the ghost achievement . The fun of the hit man challenge is no one could see, civvies, Allies, or enemies. Though that’s ridiculous that’s kind of the fun of challenges goodluck on the next one
The intro you actually only need to take out the two guys in the room you bomb otherwise they will be hit by the blast or aggro to you immediately you can do the rest of the prison break without touching anyone with a mix of speed and patience
Yeeeeeeah, my bad! I know some people like to see a larger amount of the runs, but I like to cut out most dead parts, so the experience is still enjoyable! The formatting is something I still have a lot to learn about I'm sure, but appreciate the watch fr TY!!
@@aadamjaveedkhan nah fam its all good ,twas a very well edited video , it was just an attempt for a funny comment lmao. But sume more content like this would rock ngl.
As it turns out the Non-Lethal approach Lady Boyle isn't... that bad(?). According to the Canon, the dude dies of natural causes and she inherits his fortune, so she kinda gets a happy ending (I guess?). Even the devs are kinda' iffy about that choice.
Ghost and Clean Hands? Must be your first run. Glad you enjoyed it, but the real fun in Dishonored is playin' w/ the skills to create carnage. Work on "By My Hand Alone" an' you'll see what I mean.
Unpopular opinion: all stealth games should be played like this all games daring to call themselves stealth should provide the opportunity for 0 detection playthrough also bonus points if it's a stealth game where there are no explosions or even scripted alerts whatsoever
I am only 30 seconds in! I will edit this after watching to see if my theory is right! Dark Vision was absolutely the MVP here Edit: Im sorry what? ONLY Blink?
I'm so happy you noticed haha, I did definitely consider utilising other useful powers but I kinda liked making it as hard as possible, Dark Vision would absolutely have been incredibly useful tho fs, appreciate the watch!!
100%! Pretty sure someone else recommended that too! Still haven't done a lot of research into it, but I'm definitely going to!! Thanks for the recommendation!
me who uses 0 abilities or equipement at hardest difficulty and no detection and 0 kills and search every room 5 times thouroughly to find every dime, on my first playthrough..
Tough one tbh, there have been a few comment threads regarding this, if we do I did kinda fail... but they didn't see me, just the body. What do you think?
