@@chicaandjo you’re my messiah now! I shall show you when I finally make a creation. Might do a few side pieces with modelling clay. I like the idea of making miniatures of my dog and 3 cats!! Thank you for being such a great teacher for your craft
@@ltothejtothep1983 thank you so much for the kind words! That's a great idea to make your pets! I made a tiny version of my dog on my recent Altered Moments piece that I made to look like me :)
Chiming in - freezer paper would also work well if you've run out of label paper. With E-6000, please be sure you're using it in a well-ventilated area! It also has a very distinct smell. For fine control, I use syringes and blunt tipped needles (both from amazon) with it when I add rhinestones on dance/skating dresses.
So glad you're finding them helpful! I haven't done much with adding hair -- YET -- but if I get some good techniques I'll certainly work on a video :)
Have you used Apple Barrel (Walmart) paint before or know if it will stick well to these? I use that for my tole painting and would rather not buy a whole new paint collection if I can help it 😂 Excited to get started! Your videos are so informative and helpful! Thank you!
So glad to hear you’re excited to get started and that our videos are helpful! I haven’t used Apple Barrel paint in many years (I never much cared for it) and IIRC that brand has several varieties of paints that might behave differently. I have not tried it on ceramics but perhaps you can practice on a broken or inexpensive piece?
I use a variety of different things... I have a little try that holds my paint, and a couple of jars that hold brushes and other tools. I am lucky to have a table I can dedicate to this hobby and leave everything out all the time, so I don't need to pack it up when I'm not working.
The link is down in the description under the video (along with lots more info… you should check it out!) but here it is for quick reference 😀 amzn.to/42XVdo0
