This time around it's the turn of deploying and configuring Microsoft Azure AD Connect. This is a direct sequel to my recent DNS video which you can see here • Get started with DNS &... In this session we look at connecting an organisations Active Directory infrastructure to Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory. I'll talk deployment, configuration and licensing. As always questions and comments would be welcome. Enjoy :-)

dam i think i made a mistake, when i connected it, my active directory had initials in the information and display name, but my office 365 didnt and now instead of syncing it duplicated them. not too sure how to rectify this

Remove it. Delete duplicated accounts and then reinstall. 👍😊

@AndyMaloneMVP there was only a couple accounts that didn't sync but others did, so by deleting the active directory user, then recreating the user with the exact same name, it then synced correctly. Oof didn't have to completely remove and reinstall! No one has logged into the accounts and nothing major done on directory side for the users so nothing is getting hindered by deleting the users and re adding them in active directory

I’ve already covered videos incorporating Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Asher, for example Azure AD connect. Microsoft endpoint manager etc. What are the topic areas are you referring to? Thanks for dropping by and for the nice suggestion.
