@tangledearphones5512bud if you look at Turkish Steam you can literally see steam is leaving Turkey Valve has been making games cheaper for Turkey special because they knew how bad economy was and because of you guys doing this Steam is leaving Turkey
@tangledearphones5512not really. Steam adjusts prices according to regions... However, they will stop doing that on 20th Nov, and you will not be able to buy cheaper games illegaly...
What's the point of switching to different region when you can't even use your credit card and you will have to buy their region steam card which costs and basically adds up to original price in your country?
There are some people that offer the service of buying the games for you, and you pay the games price plus a 24% tax, which end up being far cheaper (like for 90% discount, (100x0.1)x1.24 = 12.4, 87.6% discount total). You can also use a method of trading game itens, where you'll end up paying aproximately the same 24%, but its very tiresome.
I m from Serbia and I switched region on my main account 3 years ago to Turkish region, its non sense we are not in EU by any standards and salaries a lower than Turkey but we have EU prices of games… with Turkish region its more managable to buy New games on Steam than to use pirated copies
This is because Serbia is the only country on the European continent that is not part of the European Union, it is not with NATO, it is not with China or Russia with anyone, Serbia is its own boss, this country is not led by anyone, , no law to respect it in common with the others who are part of the chamber from Brussels, I respect this country so much, and that's why many charge you the same way,, like "aren't you with us? so you're against us, right?" and by this she is charged the same as the others ..something like..your country is independent..be proud bro. Kosovo is Serbiaaa viva from Romaniaaa! Viva la Turkey !!! don't worry bro im buying Nitro codes for Discord from Turkey..with 2/3$ ...
That makes 100% sensem for me, its not steam fault that you dont earn enought. If you cant afford Lamborghini because you earn 700$ per month and someone van afford it because he earns 20000$ per month is it the Lamborghini fault and they should sell you it for way cheaper? No. If you are not happy with ur country then move out
Reading comments, me mentioning Argentina causes some confusion. Currently you cannot save money using Argentina, so you should stick to Turkey as shown.
Question, it says that the funds will convert to local currency if it is the wrong one so how can we address that? it seems like the gift card simply transfered it into usd instead and nothing changed...
@@shadowolf3998 Did you Create a new account? This happened to me then I tried this method on my old account, which is why I instruct to make a new account
Is there any way to top up your wallet from bank account and still getting TL, because buying gift cards are not cheap. The game is 187 TL(30 EUR), so i need to buy 200 TL gift card which would cost me around 27 Eur. And its not worth... , In G2A its 35 eur for 200 tl ??!?, this is even going to minus not profit
@@Soap956currency is lower like PlayStationis like $60 a year in the us but in turkey is like $26 annually. Only problem is that for PlayStation there’s no turkey pan cards
atm it isnt even worth it to change your steam account region since gift cards for Argentina and turkey are rn are way too pricey, the best offer you would find would be like 1000-1400 ars for like 10$.
i wanted to do this to buy a new fate game that releases in September since I didn't want to spend 80$ on it but when I saw the gift card prices I just gave up
@@ckx4578AlTry torrenting it. If you can't find a torrent, just wait a bit and one will release. Steamunlocked is a good website for downloading games.
Is it possible to add funds directly to the account through a prepaid money service instead of buying a TL gift card? Or will they stay as Euros in my case
1000 ARS is about 25 doller and to get hogwarts its 6000 ARS witch would cost me 150 doller to get hogwarts where as its cheap i dont understand this method
Use Turkish Lira. Currently you can get 250TL for 15.68. Which means 1TL cost 0.0627$.The price for Hogwarts Legacy is 700TL, which is equal to 43.9$ compared to 60$ normal price. Granted, that is not that big of a discount, the saving potential with this method is generally lower with newer games.
As for February 1, 2023, 1000 ARS is $5.26. The problem is that Steam stopes producing Argentine Steam Gift cards. Because of that, the price of the Steam Gift cards remaining in online stores just skyrocketed.
Hi, I can help with the purchase of steam games at a cheaper price through the Russian region and without gift coupons, I will put exactly as much money as necessary.
Are you sure you can't get banned? I created an account and bought the gift card, and tried to gift my other account a game, that was in the same region. But steam didn't let me and when I contacted steam support they said "We have detected gifting activity on this account that matches using individual Steam accounts for commercial purposes." If they can detect that from a gift, will they know if I just buy it on my account?
Hi, I help to buy games through the Russian region and I have a difference in cost will be higher (well, depending on the game of its regional prices) I can help with the purchase
Can you "borrow" the games with your main account on the PC you installed the games with or will that cause problems? It's no issue with accounts from the same region.
It is a crime you know... Law has also its unwritten rules. Doesn't have to be in the books of law.. Plus - it will not work anymore because Turkey is switching to dollars starting from the Nov 20th
@@TopZuDemG I did that in 2018, I didn't get banned, but it's no longer possible anyway. Don't buy a key from a different region, it doesn't work unless you create a new account and "place" that account in the same region, probably only works while using a vpn too...
BY THE WAY: NordVPN have a 30 day money back policy. So you can change country for free. NordVPN: go.nordvpn.net/aff_c?offer_id=15&aff_id=85149&url_id=902 Buy Gift card: g2a.com/n/steamturk
The price for a 250 TL card is 15.64$ The real value of 250TL is 13.27$ so you can still easily save money then you pay a bit of a premium for the gift card
@@hbuhbbvjkhobjhvbj8561 .. did you created new steam account ? If that is the case you win. edit : .. as for euros price - euros price eventually go down. Maybe not initial release year but eventually they will.
it is infact worth it! i paid like 15 euro for SOTF... i got my türkish steam account from G2A over a year ago and i saved ton and ton of money since then! some games are up to 90% cheaper then in europe or usa .. it's insane!! the only question is if it's better to buy steam gift cards or buy skins from websites and sell them on steam to buy games ;)
@TheCatinator2 yeah.. but for the last time, did you created NEW account ?.. now, don't get me wrong.. am happy for you.. but i just don't want to create an new account if already i have 250/500/1k games in the first account (that isn’t for sale on steam anymore) -- so not worth it.. while steam patched regions crossing with only VPN, yet you can still abuse "valve suggested" prices 🫰 just like that (with new account) -- that is old news and nothing new...
@@J1327G I converted my real account to Turkish lira using cheap visa bank cards. I paid about 2 euros for the transfer and I buy a gift card taking into account the exchange rate + the markup is always + -2 euros. It's very beneficial
PEOPLE LIVING IN TURKEY AND ARGENTINA WILL BUY MORE EXPENSIVE GAMES BECAUSE OF YOUR GREED, WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS NOT RIGHT! You upset people, now play happily!
