I’ve always wondered why none of the characters like Baby Luma and Mario don’t remember each other from the events of super Mario galaxy 1 and during super Mario galaxy 2

My copy on the wii always crashed during the final cutscene so I didn’t even know about a lot of the endgame stars or the Luigi mode until the switch port came out
