I was hoping for more tips about adjusting things within the app. This video pretty much told me not to have any other lights on near the TV/camera. The random dubbing towards the beginning and end of the video was pretty funny though.
Right!? This video should be called ‘How to stretch one really obvious “tip” into a three and half minute video’! I’m not a moron, I don’t have other lights affecting it… so how do I get the best now? Agreed though.. the dubs made me lol.. I wonder if this video was originally made for the Immersion (but if so, just leave the audio alone and explain in description or subtitles).
Maybe an idea for the future is to have multiple (smaller) cameras, so they can cancel out each other's reflections and get the best results based on that.
How do you turn the constant white light off on the backlights when watching movies. The colour isn't coming in as clearly because of it and I can't seem to turn it off ?
What a bunch of c... I have no lights on I my room and I get a red bar all around the screen turns out Govee sent it with saturation set to maximum and the bar puts all the way to the red how is that for a company who says it has to put colour accuracy, more or less watching this video Govee is blaming me and says it all correct set up. I'm not very good at this sort of thing and it should be easy to set up and use, and for two days now, and is a complete nightmare now. And the app oh my god I go into the app to change the color so it shows white not red when white is on the screen, and I press the button for confirmation and go out see that the color still has not changed go back in and it has reset it self. Have to open up Dreamview then it keeps the changes. I regnet buying it and advice everyone not to buy it at all maybe the new version is better but since this is not good then why should the new one be. And this video was no help at all and totally useless
What about getting the Wi-Fi connected? Been through two different sets gone through all the troubleshooting and NOTHING. Bought the Govee smart fan and guess what? Connected to Wi-Fi without issue.
It would be really great if we could position the bars horizontally, so they will light under the furniture that is fixed on the wall. Great video, thank you!
@@oui.monsieur I don't know, then... hmm, I had some problems with accuracy too. What you could try too: make sure the angle of the camera sees all the screen. For me, at first, it saw only 3/4 and I had to tilt it. If that doesn't work, make sure there aren't other light or glare sources. And also try to raise the brightness of the TV itself and maybe tweak the TV white balance too
@@RaduGrigoriu I appreciate the info but this is my 2nd Govee kit. The first one wasn't accurate ether. I have a smaller screen 55inch and it's OLED. So it's the brightest in the industry. I think for best accuracy the imagine has to come in thru HDMI and not a camera. That's why Phillips is more expensive. But there other brands that knocked off Phillips already like lytmi I think it's called.
I really like the idea of this product (and I have bought it, It’s arriving today). My only complaint is that the light bars are wired together. I have a built in tv cabinet setup, and don’t like exposed wiring everywhere, it would be much easier if each light bar could individually hook into the box. With both wired together I have to fish one of the light bars behind the tv cabinet to have a clear wireless look.
How do u seperately assign color of the light bars? Mine both show same. I want to assign one to stimulate tv’s right side colors and left one tv’s left side colors, I seen others do it but I have no option to assign colors separately per light bar, in the app(dreamview center) there is only one TUBE showing with 6 led slots, and whatever I change there, it applies it to both light bars…anyone help? I have T1 strip back light as sync center
can the H6054 do multi color output during video mode? im very confused the original product seems it is not capable but there was mention of free controller box upgrade for it .... If i buy the product now, do i have this controller box upgraded already? please provide some info thank you.
WARNING ! if you are going to use the 3M mounts .. use some painter tape to identifies the location you want them ..once these are on they are not coming off ..
It doesn't address the problem I had - reflection from the table. When you use wall mount and have your TV slightly tilted down camera tends to pick up light reflections from whatever is underneath the screen. The only solution I found is black cloth under the TV - damn glossy OLED screens :P Screen itself was producing enough light pollution to cause detector to loop - especially red colors. Took me few hours to figure it out - now it is fU
Hi Matt can you do a video or link a shortcut if there is video to add a second strip light (2nd wall) there is a info sheet with my lights but it's not user friendly & confusing. I have T1 pro BAR/Strip on TV (gaming) & want to add & sync a 2nd strip light behind my chair & to colour match my T1 PRO system (regards in advance)
The picture quality of this video stinks. I like the Chinese communist robo voice mixed in, real professional and kinda scary. If putting the light bars to close to the tv can interfere with the camera then why does it include mounting brackets that literally stick to the back of the tv?
