I'm looking at my current version of the EQ plugin at 1.1.1 and I don't see any presets. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and do not see any EQ presets available.
awesome video. My situation is I have a mac and work online and have a baby next door and lots of noise as im in the city. I am using the DX and XLR and using some VST such as TDR nova and Noise gate. But lots of background noise still comes in. any suggestions for mac users?
SlickEQ will still sound a lot better and it has a way better algorithm including the ability to add saturation. Also there seems to be no shelving which is a way better setup on the high end.
High and low shelfs can be set for each band. Elgato EQ is designed to be setup quickly and make you sound great. Other options are of course available that include a richer feature set, yet may require more learning to effectively use. Either way, both function in our Wave Link software!
What are the limitations of using Wave XLR+ Wave DX on M1 Mac? Cause I see, that WaveLink for Mac doesn't have VST label on download menu and there is no "audio effects" app to download from your website.
There is VST on mac, there’s just no audio effects so things like the Nvidia noise cancelling won’t work, but you may be able to find other VSTs for that like RNNoise or use other apps for cancellation like Krisp
Noise removal in my version does not have a slider, the equalizer does not have presets. I just downloaded both the Wave software and the audio fx from Elgato. Am I behind a version, those are in beta?
Hey, Our Elgato EQ moved from our downloads page and is now available on marketplace: marketplace.elgato.com/product/equalizer-434df912-973b-4c57-9861-a5a4361f6199
I have Elgato EQ, Noise Remover, ReaComp and I'm still unsure about the settings. I'm still hearing/getting some air sounds when I record. It's not smooth yet :(. In the EQ, I was following someone's sort of good tutorial(they didn't go over the right click selection of wave form), so I'm unsure of my settings.
Hi Sean, For inspiration on EQ, Curtis Judd has an excellent video about this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Jn6iB1SNvRQ.html The Elgato Noise Removal is a light weight option, however the Nvidia Broadcast Noise Removal audio effect will do a better job at removing all sorts of other sounds. If you have an Nvidia RTX GPU, we'd recommend that.
