Thanks for the video. I bought a F*LIQ and mounted it today. Removed the pad but now it does not fit in this boab anymore. The clip pins are just too big to fit… That’s a pity….I must buy an extra 14” squeegee for the polework and store it separate.

I've noticed with the green Unger rubber. Even if you have a "protected" partition, it will push on the rubber and then leave trails. I had to push on the indented area to avoid this. I just recently started the two boabs. So I put my Excelerator in the area for the mop on my Unger ninja boab.

You can use an old trick which is to get a small piece of foam and glue it to the divider to give the squeegees a cushion to lean against 👍🏻

Hi peter, I've been trying to find a way of not nicking the rubbers for years, but have been unsuccessful. Your method I couldn't quite see in the video exactly what you did. I after many years of trying to do this settled on another way. I ended up buying a very good quality soft pouch and using garden wire I made the squeegee fit into the pouch. I'm only happy if my rubber is not touching anything, so while I put my rubber into it's slot the rubber side is free from touching anything which is the only way I am happy. I've been working on the perfect way to do this for years and have finally come up with the solution. It is difficult to explain ,but the bottom corner of the pouch I fold up towards the top and then fix it into place and it creates a little slot for the squeegee. Into the pouch I then put a cut down bucket on a belt. I cut it in half to fit into the pouch, I cut the bottom end away. If you send me your email address I can send you pictures and also I can send you a little video of doing the straight pulls that i do, which took a long time to perfect.

The upgrade hip bucket needs to fit the Excelerator 2.0, like Unger did with the Ninja. As for Hip buckets the Samurai is certainly a contender.

could you do a video on changing the rubber on the excelerator channel? I found it really difficult and chewed up the channel a bit in the process.

Great video, easy to see and understand. I noticed your rubber fix on your liquidators, you don't angle the ends of your rubber anymore? Can you please explain how this helps? Thank You Trad Man! Ken U.S.A. Michigan
@TradMan
@TradMan 4 года назад
Hey buddy. Yeah so with the rubber it actually doesn't need to be cut at those angles. I've tested it for over a year now on various frame types and seen zero issues so your all good to cut it squared at the ends, just remember to make the rubber flush with the end clip and your all good 😁🤜🏻🤛🏻

Great video as usual. I know it's not on topic with the video but I'm just wondering how you cope using the fliq pad when it's a high, strong sun? Recently I've been struggling with it a bit with it. I think I've been quick fanning down the window but when I look at the glass from a different angle, I can see the soap has left drag marks or smears. I always apply the soap directly to the pad and always make sure the pad is really wet but the sun just seems to cause me problems. You've probably been asked this a millions time but do you have any advice on how to tackle this problem? Thanks as always.

Have you tried the Liquidator 3.0 end clips? They're amazing and stopped any of my lines I had with the Liq 2.0 and gave me more confidence in the finish. Maybe worth trying them and dial in the zero detailing. They fit on liquidator 2.0 channels so no need to buy all new channels. 👌

Hi there looks good. Another question do u not use the original moerman rubbers that are cut into shape for the squeegee or do u just use any basic rubber thanks

Yeah I've had it for a while. Durability is poor. It falls apart in less than a year. Hence why I've gone back to the previous boab. I gave the drywalker away

Great video Peter. And thankyou, because since ive used it i though it doesnt hold them great. However does this not mean that moerman dont actually make a good enought bucket for their own squeegees as standard? We shouldn't have to do this ourselves really
@TradMan

Yeah your absolutely correct. They did try with the new boab called drywalker. Although it didn't turn out very good, it's bulky and falls apart. Hopefully they will make something different and better.

Hi Peter. Love your channel it is what started me off in this line of work. I wanted to ask a question. I did a first clean today and the back of the house was fine but the front of it all the windows are covered in tiny spots of sap that’s gone rock hard. I was at a total loss of what to do. They are relatively new and very pricy double glazed sash windows and the customer was not keen for me to get a blade out and potentially scratch her expensive windows. Have you had this before and if so what did you use on it?? Help 😱😱

Any plans or ideas of how to carry both a 14” & a 10” with F*LIQ pads in one BOAB? Pretty sure I’m not the only one that carry’s both at the same time.

@TradMan 4 года назад
@@bluerock82 yeah the silencer is expensive for sure. With the drywalker there are issues with the tray falling off and the buckle that attaches to your belt eventually wears and falls off to. Overall durability is pants.
@awedwardscleaningsolutions
@awedwardscleaningsolutions 4 года назад
Had mine for a while. No issues at all yet. Swapping the applicator and squeegee round is the best thing about it. I never found myself getting wet legs but wet t-shirt from the applicator being the closest tool to you. Not sure why normal boabs aren't like that to be honest
@TradMan
@TradMan 4 года назад
@@awedwardscleaningsolutions give it time mate, you'll see. Keep an eye on your squeegee slots that will start to shred, in less than a year your buckle that attaches to your belt will become loose and start falling off. Myself and polzn blades tested them long before they came out.
