Thanks, David. For some of us who can't afford the big ticket items it's nice to find an item like this every now and then. I think it's funny that the cap has risen in price on Amazon to $19.98 in the navy color only. I guess the secret's out :)

just a heads up for anyone who wants to try this. i did and they changed the stitching on the logo. its not just stitched around the perimeter. when i got the logo off the entire area behind it had rows of stitches about 1mm apart so about 10 rows. it was not easy to remove and make it so i cant really hid that fact that there was a logo there before.

Yep. They did change it. Same thing happened to me, and I wondered if word got to Carhartt about this.

Carhartt in the US was always a workwear brand for lumberjacks and working men.. For the last 25 years in Europe Carhartt was a street fashion brand for people who wanted cool, durable clothing that wasn't over-priced.. The products and cuts were completely different either side of the Atlantic. In the UK it was worn by Skaters, the Hip Hop crowd, Electronic music heads, trendy East London types who preferred a more understated look. They were known for their jeans, sweaters, beanie hats, T-shirts etc.. I used to shop at their warehouse outlet in Hackney near London Fields 20 years ago.. the prices were half the price than the store at Covent Garden.

I've mentioned that I try to find my Bond look at Goodwill. And I just found this hat!!! I removed the badge off the front and darkened the back piece. I now have the hat for myself. $3 at Goodwill today.

Excellent video and demonstration, to be fair I’ve worn these tile caps, believe it or not from boating shops, for awhile, I’ve also been a big supporter of Carharrt the items wear unbelievably well… However I went over to your website to see a definitive list of all the clothing that you found so far to do with a film and I cannot find a menu with this song, as you put so much effort into your RU-vid videos and items, I think it might be an idea for your website to get this done. I always use your website 1st to look at these things but then have to move on to Bond Lifestyle … just think of the affiliate links you could use if you wished 😉 … but I think it would be a big improvement to your site, I know it will be some work but I think it would be worth doing as you do draw a lot of people to your website. Keep up the good work and the videos I look forward to seeing your next one

Things Steve McQueen wore are still hellaciously stylish today. Both Suttirat and Jany Temime, the past two Bond costume designers, have said they copied Steve McQueen’s style for James Bond. In many scenes of the Daniel Craig Bond films, you can find photos of Steve McQueen wearing the exact same outfit as Bond, only many years earlier. Some of Bond’s outfits are direct copies of McQueen. My two biggest style icons are James Bond and Steve McQueen, in one sense, they may be one and the same.

I've got that Barbour jacket, it fits me like a glove and I'm a slim guy. I wonder if they changed the pattern slightly as the one you had was huge before you had it tailored? Mine's not like a Harrington but it looks great.
