Acquire Love Key in the Queen's Gardens (how to enter from Fog Canyon: • How to Enter Queen's G... ). Used to open Tower of Love to fight The Collector and obtain The Collector's Map (Grub Locations).
After obtaining the Love Key, enter the Tower of Love from the Kingdom's Edge • How to Enter the Tower... (to the East of King's Station) unless you have already opened the shortcut seen in this video. I completely forgot this place existed. I played this game front to back up until around 2019. I just finished another playthrough and had 84%, no Zote, just found Tower of Love tonight and forgot where the key was, forgot about the Collector... Then, ultimately, realized that I probably spent 75% of my 460 hours on my first playthrough trying to cope with the pantheons lol

To open the gate, you have to continue right from the room with the belfly's into kingdoms edge. From there, just continue going up and you will see a sign telling to go to the tower of love
