Historically I would pair my cigars with a strong beverage. After I gave up drinking I usually went with coffee, tea or even hot chocolate. On a recommendation I tried just water last summer. I was blown away by the flavor that swished around with every sip. Truly an experience worth trying out.

Always smoke at night, always fire up the bamboo lanterns out the back play some tunes and have 3-4 cocktails. Only smoke a few cigars a week, too expensive here in Australia

Fantastic video! I started watching your videos recently and have been really enjoying your content. I decided to order the Festivus cigars recently. They sound amazing. Your hat is on point. I love that style hat. Wood walls in the background no doubt provide an enhanced experience. Great environment to enjoy a cigar. The raspberry note you mentioned intrigued me. I've never had a cigar with a raspberry note. Are you able to provide any suggestions? Great tips on your video. I've been struggling with the retrohale. Any tips? Thanks for all you do and please keep the great content coming.

Thanks so much for watching! We had a cigar in our membership the OGT CIGAR SOCIETY and the cold draw brought a distinct berry note! In terms of retro, let out the last like 10% of the smoke pushing through the nose. Not all of it. Hope that helps?

Welcome to the cigar world my friend. The LP9 is an awesome stick but sounds like maybe you got a bad one. I've never had a draw or combustion issue with one. They always draw well and smoke like a chimney but that could cha ge on my very next one. You could invest in a draw tool for the rare occasion you run into a tight draw. Often, you can fix the issue by poking out the cigar and removing some of the tobacco for the filler. LP9 is a very firmly packed stick but you can also try to gently squeeze along the length of the body to maybe loosen it up a little. Of course, make sure you get a good cut on it before light up. Smoking outside on a windy day will routinely cause some real wonky burn issues so that's not surprise. Don't give up...Stay smokey Sir.. !

Semi-newb to cigars. Had my first Liga Privada 9 the other day. Was super excited about it, but it burned terribly, had horrible draws, and would burn out after very little attention. The entire experience was a let down, and the only thing I could think of is it being a windy day. Can a windy day really mess up the burn that much? Had to touch it up every 5-10 mins, put it down before the last 3rd and called it a night.

It could be a combination of things, the wind and temperature can definitely play a factor. And then there are issues like moisture and how it was rolled. But if it was really windy that doesn’t help.
