Probably even burns slower due to the fire being blue and not the original orange. The possibility that the rift could transform more than just items is an ongoing theory I just thought up. my theory is that the candle makes guiding light available for rooms (The normal candle does not say "Your candle is lighter than normal" it on way t make that message appear now is by holding a Crucifix)
As a former researcher and tester, the blue candle actually was the old candle. It goes off when a monster is coming, pretty helpful for doors without lights. I think it works for screech too tho- Keep in mind I am only 13, I am not an ACTUAL researcher
Rush - Goes 2 doors forward, slightly slower in the mines. Screech - Spawns everywhere (except Seek Chases). Giggle - Spawns on the roof, throw something at it, if caught get a friend ton pull it off or tank it in solo runs. Gloombats - Will attack if you use a light whilst they are swarming you. Can be avoided by placing glowsticks and staying near them whilst using a light source. Stepping on their eggs will make one hatch. 🌟 Screech Clump - Nobody was stupid enough to touch these, no info gathered besides them only being seen in the Grumble fight. Dupe - No Change Whatsoever (according to what I've seen). Eyes - Now teleports to position itself infront of the player. Hide - Figure Minigame has been added. Gets harder overtime to get you out. After exiting a locker/closet, Hide stays there, attacking you if you try re-entering (only if you stay for a very extended or very short period of time). Halt - Chase has been extended to the length of a large mines room (takes 2-3x longer). Chase room in the Hotel was reworked to a Café. Ambush - Start-up sound is slightly quieter, goes 2 doors forwards now and is slightly slower in the mines. Figure - Spawns every once in a while, same mechanics as previous Figure, however his walking anim was changed so his arms don't sway, making survival in small rooms easier. His screech can be heard a few rooms before, aswell as a few rooms after his encounters. 🌟 Grumble - Can't fit in small spaces (edge of cave, safe rooms, code breaker rooms), although they are faster than the player by around 25-45%. 50% Dmg, if you camp a small space it will run into the shadows and despawn (will respawn in the shadows or when minigame is completed). 🌟 Seek - Chase A) Jumping mechanic added, currently slightly buggy, failure of last jump is intentional (cutscene), leads into Grumble fight. 🌟 Minecart Ride - Just crouching and turning, can die in a pit of spikes. - Chase B) Sewer Chase, similar to Door 60-88 chase in the Hotel, however the Guiding Light is quite useless in this, so pay attention to the light on the ground it emits, not the sparkles (NB- this may have been changed) 🌟 Hotel Seek - Chase was made smoother, aswell as fixing animations and better hitboxes. 🌟 Snare - Added to Courtyard and Courtyard Basement. 🌟 Dam Seek - The Floor is Lava, making you jump across a massive Seek puddle (one shot) to turn the wheels, draining the dam. At phase 3 the Seek Shots become more frequent, also dealing increased damage. Take cover behind the wheels, or dodge them. 🌟 Firedamp - No Lights in these rooms, using one will make you explode (one shot). 🌟 Generator Rooms - Find 1-3 Power Fuses, usually paired with Figure or Eyes atleast once per run (atleast one of them). 🌟
floor 1 dupe only makes up to 2 duplicate doors surrounding the real door, ex: real door = 70 dupe doors can be 69 and 71 floor 2 covers alot more dupe doors (idk how much but im guessing up to 6 dupe doors)
blue candle probably has more life than the normal candle i suspect they'll do this with other light-infused items too (perhaps the Gummylight could be buffed up when inserted into a curious rift or smthn)
I think the blue candle works the same as the old candle before the floor two update, where it goes out when an entity is near, and the new one also has infinite fuel added to the mix, the current candle needs to be lighted by a lighter for it to work, it just serves as another light source incase your lighter is running low, or you don't want to use it yet ( or at least how i think it is, so if im wrong then correct me in the replies)
last month before floor 2 released, i used to place candle in a rift before floor 2 comes out and when it came out it used to give achievement when put a candle now

Pretty ez badge 👌 (I did the badge while on low hp bc of snare traps💀) Also the reason the candle turns blue after u put it in the rift is bc guiding light takes control/possessed the candle and it doesnt need a lighter to be lit and it has a longer durability too

I'm assuming the blue candle is the the candle before floor 2 update(it turns on by itself and turns off when there'san entity nearby) idk never got it and probably never will
Rush isnt bugged, it can now spawn in the further rooms and go to the rooms u came from(example: rush spawns on door 5 and heads to the reception instead of door 6). Also, the clock is guaranteed at door 49 so thats why you got both
I was playing, and doing very well, but for some reason, when Rush opened the next door, I died to him. It was a Halt Door, and when I responded, all my items were there, and Halt was no where to be seen, even though the room was still blue
Bro I'm telling u as soon as I got to door 150 I got scared as hell I couldn't even go because I was too scared and I just left the game after getting C in 30 mins cuz I knew it was gonna take forever. This was the hardest and scariest room of my life
how does door 150 even work, the next anchor i needed was right behind a wall. and there were five paths, BUT NONE LEAD TO THE ANCHOR? 3 lead to a dead end and 2 to a loop.
I have the barrel of starlight in my rift, if I put a candle in the room 100 rift, it will take the barrel of starlight out, after the candle is in the rift can i put the barrel of starlight back in the rift
Rush is so bugged for me 2, in the graveyard door 95 rush spawned but it did the first two sounds and then it killed me. In another run, i was inside the closet and he still killed me, and once i was inside a closet and my character moved out of the closet cuz why not and finally it appeared to me while seen was doing its spawning animation i swear
