Justina at least you have some hair but after chemotherapy people with cancer has no hair. You are very lucky because you have some hair. Please look at the bright side.
PSA: back rushing and back combing are 2 different things Also when you are back brushing every time you back comb/brush count how many times you’re doing it and make sure the same count goes into every single part! Little tip from a little hairstylist! Your hair is amazing ! 😍
I wish I found out about “Argan Rain Shampoo” earlier.I started using this when my hair is very thin already.But it is helping me keep my existing hair my head. I recommend that you use this for hair regrowth.
My hair is so thick that I'll try these hairstyles and the I'm like "Oh yeahhh I did it!!" and then all u hear is snapping because all the elastics are breaking!!!! well there goes all my efforts....
Try using a thick hair tie instead of a thin plastic band, or try using 4 or 5 plastic bands together- this is what I do for clients with really thick hair. Works great! Thanks for watching! :)
If you pick up some clip-in hair extensions, that should help it look thicker. Apply extensions first, then do your ponytails. If you want to skip the extensions, try doing your ponytails lower so the 2nd pony isn't seen & when you're done don't forget to take a small section of hair & wrap it around BOTH ponytails so they are grouped together. Hope this helps! :)
I have tried extensions, but I find they are not practical for me as I am a very busy person, but I will definitely try the low ponytail trick, especially since I cut my hair to shoulder length recently, and lower ponytails are much more flattering on shorter hair I find, thank you so much for your helpful tip! ;)
Great job & you're right about the two ponys lasting w/out dragging down. I usually redo my wrap a couple of times -think If I used smaller bobby pins there it would hold better. One question/comment: I think I noticed your hair spray was 'Big Sexy Hair' which I have bought & tried more than once. It just doesn't hold my hair well & I wondered if it's just me or does it nearly stink? Lol! Know it's popular & I have bought high end sprays, drug store brands & in-b-tween & find that to hold my mid-long hair I get the best luck using 'got2b glued' (Schwarzkopf) when drying & on my bangs. And if I use a curling or flat iron some on the ends the same brand 'Guardian Angel' protects & holds. I finish w/'Tres Semme extra hold or Fantastic Sam's finishing spray depending on the end result😜 I appreciate u showing styles that can be appropriate for a range of ages too. Omg I love doing this I always get compliments and especially because I like a high ponytail and so it makes my hair look even shorter plus with my shrinkage I need it lol
