Manibus Hardmode server phase 5 player here. The special variant hides also drop here but the drop chance is quite ridiculous We had a player who got obsessed with the golden wool's mask effect and they farmed goats for 7hours gaining 3~4k goat meat and only 4 golden wool. Not sure how the drop rates are over there in the colder areas but its quite low for manibus

Have they fixed animals being able to walk through walls and floors yet? In Manibus I had 2 crocs and I had to wall them in with, is it base fortifications? Only thing that stopped then from getting out
according how game was build, need roll everything until get what need, soo rare skins and fur can be obtained for skinning a lot of animals and few skin from them will be rare, theoretically. and tamed animals dont have any rare type skins or fur, its on manibus

my hive will soon move to the winter scenario and i already hate the idea to have to build every gear outfit of a build 2 times cause of the cold and hot areas also to calibrate lvl all of them i wish there was a way to slap both protections on the same armor part even if i had to farm something for it on top of what u already need to get for upgrading ur build but maybe thats just me wont be able to try the builds i planned for this server round cause of it
