I dont have a striper kit. I mowed my yard on the highest setting. Then i turned off the mower and lowered it all the way down and pushed the mower over my lawn and it stripped it great.

On your burn in pass, turn your water on for 10 - 15 seconds, then mow. It will lay down great...

My rear flap tore off my Ryobi and when I thought about replacing it, I came across all this striping stuff. If I wanted to get a kit like this or make my own, would I still need to replace my rear flap first or can I just forgo it if I’m putting a roller on it?

The flap just keeps dust and debris from shooting at your face I personally would get another flap or try to makeshift another one 😊👊🏾🤙🏾🙏🏾

I’ve seen others till some organic compost and mushroom compost into their clay and have had amazing results! I also throw down the whole Turf Titan lineup and gs plant foods lineup once a month then 4 times a year milorganite 😊🤙🏾👊🏾🙏🏾

Just quick question how often and how much iron can I use to get that deep blue green I can't seem to achieve that deep color that's my only challenge I have rygrass kbg and fescue

Try going 6oz every week until you see a deep green then pull it back to 4oz when you get the desired look. My front lawn was getting iron 6oz weekly 😂😊🤙🏾🙏🏾👊🏾

You have to take it off but it’s just hooked on which is super easy to take on and off 😊🙏🏾🤙🏾👊🏾

Also important to note that not all grass types can be striped. . . i.e. Bermuda for those who have that lawn type don’t waste your time!!! 🤪🤪🤪

Are you mulching the clippings? I’ve got the “select cut” dual mulching blades on and getting lots of clumps… Any way to reduce that?

Yes you have to trim the tips if you’re getting clumps you’re cutting too much off the grass raise the cut more until you can maintain the height of cut you want with trimming just 1/3 of the grass blades 😊🙏🏾🤙🏾👊🏾

Yeah 😂😂😂 I talked to the city boss and he was cool with it when they come to mow they skip the back back and leave it for me to cut 😊 it’s budget friendly in the back back though I don’t spend much money back there just more to mow 😊🙏🏾👊🏾🤙🏾

How long does the stripes stay?

Stripes only last a couple days you have to really burn them in to last longer but the grass grows which erases the stripes. They last longer on taller cut lawns if your cutting super low the next day they fade pretty quick. PGR helps too 😊👊🏾🤙🏾🙏🏾
