I have been through this. I get panic attacks almost 2-3 times a week. Mostly at night. I’ve learnt to control them by writing down how I feel in my notes on my phone. Here’s something to read to yourself, and remember: no matter what you go through, someone out there is proud. You are not what your panic disorder says you are. You’re not afraid. You’re not weak. You’re not stupid. You’re strong. You are one of the strongest people I know. You’re here to stay calm during an episode. Or maybe you’re here to find peace of mind and relax. You’re not going to die. It’s not a heart attack or a stroke. You’re not dying. You can get through this. It’s not scary. We can work through it together. You have so much to live for. You can do this. You can be here. No amount of panic attacks will make you any different than what you truly are. A shining diamond. Just having a rough time right now is all. I’m here. I’m here for you every step of the way. Tell me what you had for dinner? Was it nice? I had a Subway, shared with my daughter. You can do this. I believe in you. We all believe in you. It’s temporary, it lasts 5 minutes. Imagine in 20 minutes you’re fast asleep dreaming about the things you love. I love you Stay strong Stay safe.🌻💜

The scariest part for me is having difficulty breathing that I feel like I'm suffocating and dying. And getting such attacks now during covid19 is even worse. Doctors will assume your breathing difficulties might be due to that. Which makes me panic even more when it happens.

Okay so yeah I fully understand I have diarrhea and nausea I have a fear of puking don’t even like to spell or hear the word but you just have to find coping mechanism to help such as walking talking working out swimming playing with a animal and it always good to start a routine that you do on a daily basis I’ve also learned helping other people with panick attacks helps me cope with one lol for some reason and you really have to tell yourself it’s gonna be okay and this is only temporary I’m actually having a panick attack or barely getting over one as I type lol there difficult I’ve passed out and screamed I’ve been slapped all those things and I seem to realize adults don’t really help teens and kids very well when there having these and it sucks cuz we all need support maybe if you can get a counselor mine helps me but if not try talking to a friend or someone your close to I wouldn’t recommend a stranger or like a school staff unless your close to them cuz then if you aren’t they’ll not say anything or they’ll say the wrong thing cuz they don’t know u lol so yeah

I'd like to share an incident that happened to me 2 days ago and still it is there.. infact last 2 days were the worst days of my life. Because I wasn't aware about it. Because of covid 19.. I was really scared maybe.. I started getting chills.. my heartbeats got faster and sweating.. whole of my body was shivering. I almost felt like m dying.. then we called up for ambulance. It got even worst. Doctor said I was normal.. I'm just stressed and I was like.. seriously? Y would I'd be there at emergency department. I was literally shocked how doctors prescribed me few medicines..while my bp was normal.. no fever..n said at this age 20-30 we have several cases of stress attacks. And now from 2 days m practicing being positive cause I know I can myself cure this as it's harmless.. no other options though..so can everybody else .. Blessings ❣️!

good news! i know a way to stop this. i’m 14 and have had panic attacks all my life. from what i know, it does get better, and it will go away. i haven’t had one in 4 months! and i’m expecting another one soon. what i’m trying to say is; convince yourself to like them. make a healthy relationship with it and expect it to happen. just let the fear go, and know it’s just intense feelings, like literally it’s only just intense feelings i’ve already had my breaking point, that point where i lost all hope and was depressed because of it. but i found a way to love it, and accept it, and embrace it that it’s telling you you’re still alive and you CAN stand it. and i’m here. you’re not alone. look at you go! you’re so strong, and you can do this. i know it’s uncomfortable, but it won’t last. i promise you that. x

@ronnieking5390 2 года назад
Legit man I know this is a late reply but do you know how many times I've had a tight arm and pain in the chest gone to the hospital to find out it was a panic attack. I suffer from panic disorder so I get maybe 1 sometimes 2 panic attacks a day I have gotten for the most part used to the normal small ones but when I get a serious one I almost always am having a "heart attack" I'm young enough for it to be improbable to be a heart attack but its still very scary people have panic attacks but not very many people get them bad and associate them with the feeling of a heart attack and hats off to you because it's the worst form the arm pain can last for more then 4 hours even after the hospital clears me but I do have an actual answer for you during a panic attack your Body tightens up because of the fight or flight so that arm tightness you feel isnt actually anxiety more on an actual thing it's called muscle spasms but micro ones and they make your arm feel tight or heavy. The easiest way I can tell the difference is if you have it in both arms then that may be more cause of worry because I only ever find that tightness In 1 arm so the best thing I can tell you to do is go to the hospital everytime even tho they will turn you down you will have peace of mind knowing that professionals have just cleared you it almost always gets rid off mine. I live in uk so healthcare is free but if you live in any other part of the world I'm sure they can still run the checks for free because a heart attack is serious. Anyway I'm having 1 right now while typing this so punctuation wont be on fleek and this wont make any sense to you but goodluck and just remember it's a panic attack

@esseferio

In late 2011, I ended up having massive panic attacks because I was in a massive burn out. I didn't know what either of those things were, so it took me a good 2 to 3 years to finally be able to put a label on it. This may be long, but I really hope this can help someone. I sure wish I had read back then what I'm going to write now. First panic attack, never having dealt with it, I didn't think that THAT could be it. It didn't even cross my mind. I just thought I was having some sort of heart attack. I couldn't breathe or swallow, I was feeling like about to loose conscience. I was in a bus en route to work, I managed to barely ask for the bus driver to let me out because I was feeling sick. He stopped the bus, called the firemen (I live in Paris, and firemen do not only put down fires, but deal with medical emergencies also). They rushed me to the hospital but of course, 10 minutes later I was feeling OK. Exhausted, but OK. So I tried to walk from the hospital to work (a 30 minutes walk). But as I was near my office, of course, I again felt like in the bus. Couldn't move. Managed to sit down somewhere and use my cell phone to call for an emergency again. Remember, I thought I was having a heart attack, not panic attack. Back to the hospital, nothing found, felt better, and went back home, even more exhausted than the first time. Arrived home, made a house call for my family doctor who gave me a medical leave for 3 days and then I slept. 24 hours straight. Except for one person in the hospital that only mentionned that I could see a therapist there if I needed to, no one ever said to me that I just had a panic attack. And I didn't listen to the hospital staff because I simply couldn't see the relation between what I thought were physical health problems and a therapist. And so on for a couple of years, until I almost figured out by myself that I was "only" having panic attacks. And I thought I would have to live with it all my life. With some chemical help to alleviate it. But I could not easily take public transports because of "fear of the panic attack", let alone take the train or plane to take some holidays. 5 years during which I barely lived, mostly because of this fear. I remember I always double checked before leaving home that I had pills for that, "just in case", a bit like a smoker always make sure he has a pack of cigarettes before leaving. In the summer of 2016 my father died. He was living in Spain. And I couldn't, just couldn't take the plane. Couldn't even imagine myself taking the plane. And so I wasn't there at my father's funeral. That's when I decided that this had gone too far. I did some research and found out that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy could be an answer. I found a specialized therapist close to home (I couldn't travel very far) and started my sessions in september. I took the train to go to the seaside to visit a friend for the first time in ages in march 2017 and haven't had an attack since then nor the need for chemical "help". Since then I travel by train, plane, bus without a problem. And I sometimes remember "back when" I was afraid to even take a walk... I really hope this can help someone (even with my mediocre english :)), and sorry if this was too long. But again, had I read this back then, it probably wouldn't have taken me 5 years to figure it out. Peace, Serge

@@Coco_56 hi, I’m now a few years into no more panic attacks. I know this will sound like bs but it was the power of the mind. Once I understood that a panic attack is a fear response, that as horrible as they feel I am fine and I will be fine. I was able to convince myself it is not worth it, and that my mind IS strong enough to stop it. So one time I did affirmations as I was having one.Told myself “stop it, don’t do this to yourself, you are fine, you are healthy, you are free from this burden, this is not you, you are strong, you can stop it!” And it stopped!that gave me the confidence, since then every time I felt one coming I would do the same affirmations and soon after they just completely stopped. Very seldom I feel one coming, but I can always control it. I don’t think I’m 100% free of anxiety, but I am free of panic attacks. Hope this helps.

Been going through a lot of stress in my life; job loss, medical issues, relationship issues, spiritual issues, and have felt very alone and conflicted about a lot of it. I have been having panic attacks every night for the past week and am having one right now. Can’t stop shaking, my heart is beating fast, feel lightheaded, have to keep going to the bathroom, churning stomach, feel like i am out of control. They are even worse at night, when you are all alone and trying to sleep 😩😩 One of the only things that helps is coming to RU-vid vids like this and reading the comments. It makes me feel less alone. I wish I could be with you all right now and help you through it ♥️

I read something the other day after having these things for over 40 years that made me feel so much stronger. Someone wrote that we are not weak, those of us who suffer. We are incredibly strong, waking up to each day where we often start an incline like climbing a hill and we keep climbing and climbing cos it sure isn’t dropping off any. then the very next day we start All Over. we’ve come through it, often to start another one the very next day. How strong can that be? I say it’s a strong as a cancer patient, as hard as someone having a heart attack, it’s as hard as someone going through rehab every day to walk again. For so many years I thought I should wake the hell up and just get through it because there are others who are suffering from real life pain. But, it is real life pain. It is something I can try to stop, but it only ebbs sometimes, and it takes so much effort and so much strength. Please know that if you feel half of what I feel every time something around me is stressful and they start back up again, you are strong beyond your Expectations. You are “strength”!!

The first few times I had them I thought I was having a heart attack and I was going to die. Now it's just "ahh crap not this again". Most important part is to remember there's nothing wrong with you and that you will be fine. Mine are caused by stress and made worst by caffein. I get them once a year or so.

Tips that help me: - everything is going to be okay - breathe - take a bath if you are able. Essential oils really help if you have them, as well as Epsom salts. It will smell pleasant and help relieve any aches and pains, plus having the warm water helps to make you more calm. - eat a small snack or wipe your forehead with a cool cloth if you have nausea. - Hug someone, or a teddy bear if a person is not available (no, I'm not joking). Teddy bears/pillows are actually preferable because they don't talk. - drink water slowly. - breathe - no caffeine - listen to ASMR videos or soothing music. - text a friend or loved one that you trust, especially if you are alone. It helps to make me feel better just to tell someone. - if the videos/music isn't helping, try absolute quiet - breathe - lay down with your knees folded under you, kind of like praying. I feel this position to be very soothing. -lift your hands above your head while sitting or laying down. It helps to give your arms/hands something to do, and it kinda confuses my brain a little bit enough to distract it. - write or type out things you enjoy. Going swimming or fishing, reading, gardening. It will help to orient your thoughts to more positive things. - look at media you enjoy like Pinterest boards or liked videos on RU-vid. - breathe - surround yourself with soft items like pillows and fluffy blankets. - give yourself a scalp massage. - brush your teeth or chew mint gum (this also helps with nausea). - if you vape or smoke, don't intake nicotine during this time. It really can make it worse (I know). - breathe - everything is going to be okay - take a small walk outside or try tidying up your area if you feel stable enough for it. The physical exercise is good, and with organizing it can help to order your thoughts. - breathe - this too shall pass - if you are religious, say a prayer for everyone that you are grateful for in your life. This helps to focus your mind in the people that you love. - if you are not religious, meditate on who and what you are thankful for. Writing a letter to someone can be very cathartic, even if you never send it. - after you are in a more stable place, evaluate the stressful things in your life and what could be causing them. I recommend keeping a journal. I have learned that the things that are truly stressing me out do not come out in the first page of my entry. Sometimes you have to pick and pull things apart and explore exactly the emotions so that you can get to the core of what is harming you mentally and physically. 🌻 Everything is alright, and I hope that I have helped you. I am alone very much, and sometimes I just need someone to tell me everything is going to be okay. So I am here in this comment section to provide that for someone else. 🌻

The same thing just happened to me tonight. I had just fallen asleep, and then all of a sudden I woke up to my heart racing, and I mean it was pumping fast! That of course led me to get more anxious and then I started questioning (in my mind) things like: did I take some bad supplements just before bed? Is my medication bad? Am i having a heart attack? I'm already a heart patient, which makes it even scarier and my wife is out of town, so it's just me here laying in my bed, in the dark, all alone. My teenage daughter is downstairs in the basement, so do I go wake her up and tell her to call 911? Will I even make it down the stairs without collapsing? All of these fears just make it worse....and here I am...is this the end? Then I remember that I've felt this way before and it's usually when my wife is out if town. This is just a panic attack..my chest isnt in pain, my arm isn't in pain, the heart is just racing and can't find it's normal rhythm.. I tell myself in the moment, 'Deep breaths and above all, stop thinking about it. Get out of bed and go pray. Say your final forgiveness prayers if you must, but do anything to stop thinking about it.' Then slowly my heart rate starts to go down a little and the feeling of impending doom begins to dissipate. I then lay down in bed again and look for RU-vid videos that help with panic attacks. It helps. My mind is off my fears. I'm not listening or focusing on my heartbeats. Heart rate is back to normal, but I can still feel the extra adrenaline rushing around my body. So much for going to bed early tonight tobtry to get a goid night's sleep! But still....in the back of my mind, I have to wonder "Why did this even happen? Is it maybe my heart?" Ugh...anxiety and panic attacks absolutely take the life out of you. And tomorrow comes the fatigue with depression. A vicious cycle.😰

I can usually stop one from getting out of control by going for a quick jog to get the “flight or fight” instinct out of my system, which burns off some adrenaline and gets me focused and breathing more deeply. IMHO the tips in this video and general CBT techniques are more useful in the immediate aftermath to prevent the panic from spiking up again than they are when the terror is actively going on. While panic attacks are rooted in psychological issues, the panic itself is caused by a physical response and it’s kind of strange to me that a lot of advice on how to stop them ignores that part of it. I never really understood the importance of exercise in managing anxiety until I realized you gotta burn off those pesky stress chemicals.

Focusing on an object can be a good idea. I collect paintings, and every time I have a panic attack, I look at them one by one and say every detail aloud. Sometimes I start talking to people in portraits, which is strange, but it always helps.

Ive had at last 3 panic attacks that i can identify. One of my cousins described it as "impending doom" and thats how i knew i was having the 1st one i could identify. I really do wish mental health issues made it into the mainstream like a headache or a cold because this is real life for A Lot of people. And more and more society should talk about and distigmatize our mental reactions to such a stressful and confusing world.

Quick thing, if someone is having a panic attack, do not touch them. It seems like it could help, but when you're having a panic attack it can make you feel trapped and make it worse. You can ask to hug them, if it will help they'll let you. Things you can do for yourself during a panic attack depend on the person. For me, I am very introverted and have social anxiety, when I feel panicky, I go to my bedroom for alone time. Sometimes it stays and I cry, but I can let it out and it makes it so much easier, as well as preventing a lot of my panic attacks. Talking to me makes it worse a lot of the time, I don't need verbal or physical comfort, I need silence and a safe space. Something my mum did for me actually just last night when I had a panic attack is having me do the 5 things technique. Say 5 things you see, touch 4 things you can touch, say 3 things you can hear, say two things you can smell, say one thing you can taste. These things can be anything, and it can help to elaborate. Maybe you smell an air freshener, it has a sweet lemon citrus smell with a hint of strawberry, maybe you see a blue chair with little purple elephants dotted over the cushions, maybe you feel the ground beneath you, it's cool with just a slight texture to it. It may seem weird, but you have to actually do the weird things, actually say and point out what you see, hear, and taste, and go touch what you feel.

Having an panic attack right now :( ive been experiencing them for over 3 years now. In the beginning my heartbeat was so hard that I felt it during the day all the time I was si scared for a heart attack. And after a while my anxiety decreased a bit and all of a sudden I didn't feel my heart beating anymore which triggered other anxiety for a cardiac arrest. Bluuuh its a circle of stress about dying and focusing on every sensation in my body . I hope I will overcome this someday cause im sick of feeling scrared of my heart.

I had panic attacks when I was 16 years old, i had them like every 30 mins and last for like a month or a little more, due to a traumatic event i lived. It was horrible, I used to cry non-stop in my room, not eating, trying to sleep most of the day to avoid the feelings coming back again and again. Hiding the attacks from my family and friends, which was the worst thing I did, imo. I was young and ignorant. I am 45 years old now and I still sometimes (2 or 3 times a year) feel the panic attack coming again for no reason, sometimes by watching a movie, listening to a song or a smell, pictures, etc. It’s weird how you get triggered by. The best technique to get rid of it that i’ve found over the years is to distract myself right when you feel is coming. I know it won’t work when it is the first time you have one but once you have many in your life you know when one is coming. Just start thinking and talking to yourself or someone about anything else except the panic attack and the terror that is about to come to you... sing a song you love or start narrating to yourself or someone an exiting event you lived before. In my experience the panic attack goes away immediately (in seconds) using that technique. Even screamming loud and getting mad (to no one) helps! Anything that change your thoughts helps. However, if you are not able to get rid of the attack, talk to someone and tell that person to start talking to you about anything, and that you are having a panic attack. Hope this helps people suffering right now from this disorder. Panic attacks is one of the worst feeling that anybody could experience but at the same time once you know how to manage them, at least there is an instant solution.

Ever time I have a panic attack I see the dame horrifying image. I see myself in a corner sobbing, and it’s almost like an out of body experience since I’m looking at myself, and it feels so real. I’ll be sobbing so intensely that I’ll scream from my core, sounding like I’m dying or being possessed. My mind will parade with negative comments and sometimes even suicidal thoughts, questioning why I’m here. I’ll be rocking back and forwards, it’s terrifying to hear that scream.

I have a panic attack disorder/OCD. The OCD started when I was very young, (about 7 years old) and the panic attacks started when I was about 18. (I’m 21 now.) I remember my first panic attack being breathing related. I was focusing to much on how I was breathing, and it started to feel as though I was breathing manually instead of instinctually. Suddenly my mind made me believe I was going to stop breathing, so it went into panic mode. I COULDNT BREATH. I started rocking myself, and trying everything in my power to ignore this feeling. (Note to self: never ignore panic symptoms, address them) NOTHING HELPED. At the time I didn’t know anything about panic attacks, so I thought I was having some serious health problem. I felt extremely dizzy, and sick to my stomach. The room was spinning, and my fingers and feet cramped up and went numb. It felt like I wasn’t in control of my body, or anything around me. How could I forget the heart flutters in my chest? Felt like someone kept knocking on my chest like it was made of wood. Finally I grounded myself with the help of my family, and some water. OH, a fan blowing on me also really helped. After 3 years of dealing with this anxiety, I’m STILL scared of encountering another one of those panic attacks. The thought of it happening in public terrifies me. It got to the point where I couldn’t eat anymore. I was scared of things in food that could cause heart attacks or any health problem, so I started starving myself! You know how hard it is to find foods with little to no sugar?? NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE. I went from 155lbs, down to 118lbs in 3 months. It was not good for me at all. Basically, I was lying to myself. I kept telling myself “it’s gotta be the caffeine, or the sugar.. maybe if I cut it all out I’ll be okay!” Nope. I was wrong. Less sugar and caffeine definitely helps, but I don’t recommend completely cutting it cold turkey. Anyways, 3 years down the road I still experience anxiety, after trying everything. I’ve tried therapy, medication, breathing techniques, and so much more. I can’t wait for the day where I find that thing that does help and I can be free from worry. I wish you all luck on this journey, you’re not alone.

don't try to fight it, don't try to force your panic to stop, just accept it and do not try to control it, just make sure you're not breathing to fast you won't die just because your heart beats fast, otherwise you'd never be able to do cardio workout, and you probably can, and if you're out breath, the most that can happen is you pass out and wake up fine

A really effective solution and way to overcome a panic attack is to re frame the perceived threat from fear into excitement both of these emotions are so similar that the brain is easily fooled into releasing positive hormones that help overcome the panic attack.

For those struggling with panic attacks during the pandemic, know that an intense fear of having symptoms might cause them to appear. That doesn't mean it can't be something serious, but it does mean having specific symptoms can absolutely be because you're so worried about having them in the first place. And also know that panic attacks can last much longer than 10 minutes. I'm not sure where all these videos get their info of "10-30 minutes," but it definitely isn't from actual psychiatrists. The chances are extremely high that you'll be perfectly fine soon and you'll get through what you're feeling now.

Listen, I know you need to see this because I needed to see this to truly understand this. *We. are. normal.* Seriously. Stop thinking you are cursed because you’ve experienced these horrible events. You’re not cursed… no, you my friend, *are a human being.* full of passion, concerns, creativity, and emotion. That’s what creates panic attacks!! You’ve neglected your human nature and you’ve become too busy to pay attention to what your inner self is telling you. Listen, 1. Slow things down. Enjoy the little moments of life and reassure yourself that you are *valuable,* because. you. are. 2. During an attack, don’t fight it, you will lose every time. Instead, learn to accept that it is happening again, and that your body is much more resilient than you fear. Try to focus on nice deep breathes, scan and identify each individual body part starting with your toes, up to your head, and then look around the room for a clear and present threat. Can’t find anything? *That’s because your body perceived a threat that is not real or present.* the more times you practice this, the easier it gets, and eventually the panic attacks as a whole, will stop altogether. 3. Take care of your well being, friend. What is your body telling you? Have you ignored your passions, or your concerns, your creativities, or your emotions lately? I’m confident you have. Because we human beings, as we grow up, somewhere along the line, convince ourselves that we are too busy to make time for our own wellbeing. Listen, do what you love. Every day make time to enjoy writing about your passion, or do something creative. Tell someone about your concerns (and actually do something about it) and make sure you can identify your emotions. You are a human. *You have them.* try to express them in a healthy way. I’m finally nearing the end of my panic attacks after suffering them for years. I’m at the point that I can begin to stop them as soon as they start because I have practiced patience with myself. Please do yourself a favor and do the same thing. I wish I had someone tell me this early on, it wouldn’t have gotten so bad. Do not convince yourself you need to be medicated for this issue, if you truly want, you can experience remission by training yourself. The medication never stopped my attacks, but learning to be panic resilient has. Eventually, you will be more resilient and calm in stressful situations, than the majority of people if you practice these steps. It will become your super power. And remember, trust me, you would know if it was actually an emergency. It would be much, much, *much* different and totally identifiable to tell, if it were really something bigger happening. You believe your panic attack are something bigger because you make them out to be. I was convinced this was something new and unusual, every. single. time. But we need to realize that this same, uncomfortable feeling we get nightly, daily, when we are in crowds, etc. is the exact same uncomfortable feeling that’s happened before and it’s nothing new or different. We just want to believe it is. *TRUST ME, YOU WOULD ABSOLUTELY KNOW.* You will win. I promise. Stop allowing yourself to think that you are weak. You are here *because* you are strong!!!

I’ve been having small and big panic attacks basically every night. I keep feeling like I’m gonna die and my body shakes and I struggle to breath. Every time I close my eyes to try and sleep I feel like I’m gonna die in my sleep. My first panic attack was in April this year. My symptoms where difficulty breathing, shaking, nausea, over heating, needing a light on, couldn’t lie down, felt like I was gonna throw up . Some things that helped me was when I told my mum she rubbed my back nice and slowly and distracted me from the things that’s worried me. I try telling my body that I’m gonna be fine and I will wake up the next morning but I also feel like I won’t. I always pray and I’m like “ god please don’t make this the end please please please I don’t wanna die right now please make this be over” I also think that watching the news can cause then because of fear. This is why you should try not to watch the news. Anyways I hope this helped or at least I hope you learned something

My attacks last for about 10 hours, I walk in my room in kinda a circle and many many times I’ve walked over 25 miles each time. I literally walk untill I collapse. Ive been fighting these attacks three times a week for over ten years. My attacks are not short like you say, they last for hours and even days. My doc will not prescribe me benzodiazepines because i also take a drug that conflicts so I can’t even use them for the really bad ones witch are all of them. I need help and I am getting help with a psychologist, but so far it has not helped. So all I can do is walk. I’d rather have gout in both of my ankles then have a panic attack. SO FIGHT ON. THIS TO SHALL PASS. Some time.

The worst thing you could possibly do is take benzodiazepine. They are so fucking addictive, my aunt (who was a well off, posh woman - big house, the works) was prescribed them years ago and she's a full blown addict. In and out of rehab, robbing from her parents to fund her habit. Go to therapy. Maybe an SSRI will help you. Benzo's are as bad as being on heroin.

I always thought I was having panic attacks all the time because I struggle with anxiety constantly, but then I actually had one a few days ago. I dont know what you would call the mild ones i had before but my heart would beat crazy fast and it would make me very sleepy and almost go auto-pilot sometimes. This time it started with trouble breathing when suddenly I thought I wasent getting enough oxygen the intensity tripled and tripled again in a second. Started hyperventilating and it felt like a car airbag deployed in my chest. Insane pressure in my chest. That instantly made me think heart attack so I went for my phone and just that fast my fingers wouldnt listen to me. They cramped so bad I couldnt call an ambulance. Luckily someone was in the house and I made it to them before my leg cramped up. They talked me through it and calmed me down by the time the ambulance got there I was starting to feel better and could walk by the time they left i was 100% except sore from all the cramps. I think alot of people think they have panic attacks because they never actually experienced one. I was sure I was dying and even now the next time ill have no idea if its a heart or panic attack. Since this quarantine,i always having panic attack. It sucks. I feel like i am dying. I am still 16. I don't know how to tell my parents about it. I once end up in the hospital but the nurses just diagnose me as dehydration. I was having heart palpitation for the whole week 24/7. It's kinda frustrating they diagnose me as only dehydration which i think i am not. Since then,i always having panic attack. I always wanted to meet a doctor in the big city. Because i live in the countryside so it's hard to reach the main city and there are a lot of roadblocks. You can't pass through without a pass from the police. In my tiny town just have a little hospital where they seems like they're taking the disease lightly. They don't understand what i am going through. They seems so unprofesional. My mom was one of them,she's a nurse there. At that time,i don't know if i had an panic attack and anxiety so i dont explain myself clearly to the nurses and my mom. Now i know what i've been suffering. How can i explain to my parents? They might take this lightly and pretend that this is not a big deal. I feel so helpless and hopeless where nobody believe me. I never had a friend going through panic attack. It's rare here. This is where i confess everything.

I had a panic attack at school today. This video helped me identify correctly what went down in that situation. Really informative. I’ve had it in the past, but it’s such a long time ago, that I really thought I was done with them. What triggered it, I’m still not sure if, I just know I felt kind of helpless in a situation, and I just had to leave the room. I then ended up being unable to breath properly, and I was very hot and felt like I was about to puke. I am afraid I might have some sort of anxiety disorder, or something similar. I’m going to my therapist tomorrow, fortunately, so I’m going to talk about the event with her.
