when he hits the flower, theyre attracted to the flower and ignore him. when i do it they aggro me like crazy. been trying to get past those last 2 for 3 hours with zero luck

If you want to go around in the Abyss Forest easy mode, just wear the Black Knife Armor with the cloak on. No sounds, no problems.

Or use the talisman that removes all sound during movement. Its easier to get

I used the black knife armor set from the base game to get past them, the full set silences foot steps

Assassin's gambit is amazing if you have it, small HP/FP cost, and it makes you harder to see and gives silent steps. You basically have to get right up on the Winter Lanterns for them to see you while it's active.
