Realmente me gustó mucho tu video, estuve viendo otros tantos y la mayoría hablaban de estructura, las partes indispensables del video, apps para editar, etc. Sin embargo tu video me pareció muy nutritivo pues me ayudaste a vislumbrar mejor cómo llevar la conversación del mensaje de mi cliente específicamente a lo que espero obtener, lo cuál sin duda alguna hará mucho más valioso el contenido pero sobre todo, más controlado. Totally agree about making it as easy as possible for them. For example, don't make them travel, especially if it's a lot of effort, to to your office just so you record them there. Go to them, which is also better because you can record them in the action aand within the comfort of their own environment.

What if the company has hired you to do the testimonial videos? Would it be best if I did the heavy lifting - reaching out to the clients and prepping them instead of the company? Thinking about how to alleviate the time constraints of the company if they're investing in me. Thanks for the value!

Here's the thing, you don't have a relationship with them but your client does. It's much more likely that the customer will agree to do this if your client reaches out first. I would at least have your client start the conversation, demonstrate how important that customers story is, and THEN introduce you as the video part of the equation.
