What’s great about the landing page with email marketing is you don’t actually need sales to get started with it 😀 but you do need traffic - so SEO is definitely the best place to start
Not with having an opt in page for your email list. When you set up a landing page with a coupon offer you can gain emails for your email list without sales. I set up a coupon for mine for a % off to entice potential customers to join my email list.
Great info, especially about e-mail. Haven't had much luck with seasonal. Evergreens have worked much better but sales aren't where I want them. So, time to reevaluate.
Number 1 tip is to always follow what is working! I like expanding into those evergreens when I see success with them or another thing that has helped me is using the same designs of my successful evergreen listings and recreating them for new niches ☺️
Hey, I have a Etsy Shop since last November. I did some sales during christmas and a few after. When the sales went down I started to panic and now I have like 10 different niches in my store. I want to reset my store and focus on 1 niche again. Would you recommend to open a new store, because I guess my algorithm is kinda destroyed? I’m not sure because I already have 16 five stars reviews so I’m not sure if I should keep the store
Hi Taylor, on some of the best selling T-shirts on ETSY, I have seen in most of the listings for their mocks groups of t-shirts in different colors displaying the size charts. Can you please advise how they obtain them?
So is your main way that you are letting buyers know you have an email list is the image in your listings? I thought everbee could no longer just gather addresses so how are you pointing people to the sign up? Thanks taylor
Listing images, shop announcements, and listing descriptions! All of these spots I’ve provided a landing page that I made with EverBee and a customer is able to opt in to the email list on the landing page. You can only gather emails if the customer opted in. ☺️
I hope no one makes this mistake i did this morning, accidently deleted a best selling listing 😕 even if i create the same listing with same photos and seo tags, it might not be a best seller or even sell at all.
Hey Taylor, Hope your day's going awesome!I've been checking out your content, and I must say, it's pretty amazing. But when it comes to your RU-vid thumbnails, I think we can take them from good to great. How do I know? Well, I've been in the thumbnail design game for 4 years now… And let me tell you, I've got the skills to make those thumbnails pop. Plus, I've got a long list of happy clients who can vouch for my work. If you're up for it, I'd love to team up and work some magic on your thumbnails. Let me know if you're interested! Best, Mubashir
Hi! Is the 50% off for Everbee only applicable in selected locations? The link is not working on my end. It will be very helpful for me as I am planning to start my own Etsy shop. :)
can a niche be anime? for example I can sell the same artwork, shirt, and phonecase? my niche is anime and i can just cater to it no? i was selling hand painted anime drawings and then the idea to expand came to me. i was selling those hand painted artworks for 300, but seeing search analytics there was a lot of searches for shirts, hoodies, etc. i actually just made my first Print on demand sell on one of these images that i based my artwork in. keen to hear your thoughts ?
I don’t know a lot about anime but I would recommend doing research on trademarks. If you were utilizing characters and references to specific shows or anime references it could be trademarked, which you could not do legally. A trademark lawyer could help you with this for understanding what you can and cannot do.
This is for my digital product shop so the margins are a lot higher so I am able to offer 50% here. My physical product shop I offer a discount of 40% which allows me to still make a small margin of about 10-15% if that discount is used.
Keep at it got my first sale a couple of days ago (aside from orders from the family) took me about a month of figuring out what item I specifically wanted to sell
