15. It's been very very slow for me, but I have to admit that my marketing skill hasn't been the best. still learning. Thank-you for this video, I needed to hear to keep on going and that success will show up. 👍
I literally just got my first sale today but the pricing was so off I think I made 80 cents but Honestly I don’t care I was so happy to get that email that I made my first sale.
CONGRATS! That is super exciting even though you only made 80 cents! That's better than losing money on the sale 🤣 It is definitely an awesome feeling getting your first sale! Many more to come as long as you stick with it! Thanks for sharing!
Wow Brandon, I just discovered your channel and am very happy I did. I told my wife that Brandon is the guy!" Your tone, pace, and clarity is second to none. I am looking forward to learning more from your other videos.
Thank you for the clear explanations!! I just started and was looking for the exact little(but vital) details that you talk about. Much appreciated 🙏🙏🙏 Plus you're enjoyable to watch😊
I'm so grateful that I found your channel, you're very humble and really care about your followers,i can't wait to watch the whole other videos let's make it with Etsy 🙏
Thank You for making these videos, I have watched a lot of different You Tube Channels about Etsy and yours is the easiest to learn from and you cover everything, I appreciate what you do.
Just found you and i'm an instant fan!!!! Your videos are straight to the point and just what i needed!!! Thanks so much!!! Just starting out so ill be taking notes on all of your videos!!
Listen and then listen again!! This is so the truth. Sheesh it took me about 8 months to get regular sales and about a year to get good sales. This is not a get rich quick thing at all but so worth the effort. Anther great vid! Thanks Brenon
You’re the best, Gloria! Love your comment and attitude! I’m so excited for your success! You’re the perfect example of someone sticking to the fundamentals and not giving up…and because of it, look where you are now! 🙌🏼 Thanks for your support and watching! Best of luck!
@@brenondopp I recently passed 1200 sales. I'm so grateful! I definitely went through times where someone would've quit lol but I took the lesson and kept going. This business can't be taken too personally is also a big lesson. Thank you for your support!
Oh my! I just came across your channel and I am so glad I did! Just opened my first Etsy store two weeks ago and I am noq squirreling away and improving all my listings! Bring on that first sale!!
I just want to come on here and say thank you for your videos. I'm just starting out on this journey and you are so elaborate but quick to the point, very concise. Thanks
I've tried to avoid getting friends involved, because it reminds me of people who start selling insurance and the first thing they do is put pressure on friends. I've got 85 listings in my first month, and the quality has definitely improved as I've studied competition and learned the tools. No sales, though, so I think I'm going to have to reconsider my no-friends policy.
Thank you for sharing! Congrats on your first organic sale!! That is very exciting! You must be doing something right 😊 Stick with it and many more to come! Happy selling!
wow - so glad I stumbled on your channel... will be watching them all!! I was looking for a step by step video for setting up an etsy listing with all the nuances from printify? I am a seasoned seller with another shop for collectibles- but this outsourced / tshirt thing is a little overwhelming because I can't figure out little things... I'm sure you have a video on it - not sure what it would be called... much appreciated... :)
Hi! Welcome to the family! I'm glad you found my channel as well! ☺️ I currently don't have a video on how to create a listing with Printify but I plan to make one in the coming weeks, so stay tuned! It is a very similar process just slightly different steps. Until I create a video, I'll try my best to walk you through it. From your Printify account, Select Catalog > Choose your product you want to add > Choose your print provider (my two favorites for clothing are Monster Digital and SwiftPOD) > Select "Start designing" > add your design > Select "Save product" > Add your SEO for your title and add your description > Under Store details, check the box next to "Hide in store" (doing so will save it as a draft on Etsy) > for Variant visibility, I choose "Show in stock variants as available and out of stock variants as "sold out" (best for SEO optimization) > Choose your Shipping profile (mine are all set up on Etsy already so I just choose the corresponding profile) > Select Publish. Now you are ready to go add all of the final details in your Etsy shop like listing photos, tags, etc... after doing so, Publish your listing on Etsy! Hopefully this helps until I post my video on this! Let me know if you have any questions! Thanks for watching!
Reviews are really helpful to build social proof in your shop, especially if they include nice pictures! I shared my shop with family and friends when I first started and it helped a lot, but be careful to not have anyone order from your shop that has the same IP address as you or else your shop could get flagged. Best of luck!
Thank you Brenon, another valuable video, with a great checklist to tick off. As a new seller on Etsy, I haven't got the thank you for shopping on my store done yet and nothing on the reviews either. Do you have anything on this? How do we do it. Where is it on Etsy? What do we say? How do I do coupons? I've just made my first two sales, can I still do this? I will watch your video on this if you have one. A bigger thank you from me.
Hi Jacinta! Congrats on your first two sales! That is super exciting! You can still message your customer and thank them for placing an order with you, and then you can send them another message after the item has been delivered to make sure they're happy with the order and to kindly ask them to leave a review. They can still leave a review as long as it hasn’t been over 100 days since the order was delivered. Here are two videos on how to create coupons and tips for customer service: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-a3ECeu69uac.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DlHNf6m4aao.html I hope this helps! I started in Sept 21 I’ve got 70 listings of mostly T-Shirts, Sweatshirts and a couple of mugs I’ve had 30 sales only.. and most were Christmas jumpers last year I’m just going to keep uploading and see how many sales I get when I’m at 100+ listings
Congrats on your 30 sales! The first few are definitely the hardest. Honeslty, makes sure you are following all of the ingredients I share in this video because they are the fundamentals that have helped my shops the most! Keep with it and good things will happen! Thanks for watching!
@@brenondopp thanks, it does feel good getting a sale and I set my expectations very low so I just keep uploading and see what happens Thanks for the videos and help Must admit the profit is very low on T-Shirts, I make approx £3 a T
Love that thumbnail! It made me click and watch your video. You share such great information. I think I need to do a shop overhaul and implement these suggestions.. also can’t believe you ate that cereal.. so gross!
I don't really have many people around me to support my business apart from my boyfriend who already bought a product and left me a review 2 months ago. I'm just adding a ton of listings now to get to at least 50 and sharing on Pinterest but so far no sales at all.
Hi Alice! The next biggest things you should focus on top of adding new listings is making sure you are doing your trend research to create trending designs and perfecting your SEO. You need to make sure your listings are able to be found. I really do believe the things I share in this video are the basic fundamentals to creating a successful shop, and they are what I've done in my own shop. Stay patient and don't quit! Success will come! I wish you the best!
Hi Brendon, Wanted to ask you if i should publish my etsy store with 1 product or do i need to publish multiple products at a time to start ? If so how many ?
Quick question. Ive designed on Canva. Ive entered listings in Etsy not Printify. Do I have to list in both? seems repeatitive. I see your using Printify to upload designs then switch to Etsy. I downloaded my desings from Canva then uploaded to Etsy.. Does it ake a divverence?
Hi Shelley! Before you do anything, you need to make sure you have your Etsy shop integrated with Printify (this is a one-time step). After you've made sure it's properly integrated, you then need to create your new product on Printify first and then publish it to Etsy. By doing so, it will automatically sync and be pushed to your Etsy store so you don't need to upload or create any listings twice. If you do it this way, when an order comes in, you can have fulfillment set to automatic and there is nothing else you will need to do. I recommend watching this tutorial and following these steps: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CnbExTpG1ak.html&lc=UgydLVlMeKPNMLZRltp4AaABAg This is the best way to do it! I hope this helps! Thanks so much for watching!
Hi Brenon, Well done great content and great presentation. I have zero sales and about 3 weeks into my Esty store. Trying to fine tune the buyer experience when and if they ever show up. I heard you can copy a listing to save time. I tried this but put a completely different design on the copied listing. I don't see the copied listing in Printify. Can I change the design on copied listings or will the customer think they are getting a different design but really get the original listing design. Do you recommend creating a new listing through Printify for every design. My store is catstrendycustoms I recently added color labels of mocks. I am not sure if I should do this for every shirt/sweatshirt Thx Cat from Ontario Canada
