I bought one back in the day for fifty bucks put a three hundred dollar 73 olds 455 in it and was beating turbocharged grand nationals. The regal wss sick looked like it was sick too till you mashed rhe gas ran it for three years then pulled rhe motor and junked it 😊.good ol days. Late 90s i did that
My dad's buddy had a G body Cutlass supreme with a 455 swapped into it. That thing would light em up like nobody's business. That guy is the reason I'm into G body's today!
Blazer or bravado brakes and knuckles will give you bigger rotors dual piston calipers and sealed bearings and will bolt in no mods. I used year 2000 … two wheel drive only.
hey man i know its kinda late now but I am struggling to find taller upper ball joints in Canada. i was wondering if you had a part number or cross reference i could use to find them. Thanks!
Depends on the type of racing but generally a little bit on the loose side for the extension and more firm on the compression. Maybe 3-6 clicks from full lose on extension And generally 10 clicks or so from full lose on compression give or take
Jeep Cherokee mod works on 79 and up, 78 is it's own thing and does not accept that steering shaft. 78 sucks for this and many other reasons. best front end though lol
Have any links to the rear suspension stuff? I won a nitrous 582 BBC at war in the woods from Jeff Thomas. Makes over 900 hp on motor. Not sure my 8.5 will appreciate it.. lol This will be my winter project. All I know is the stock suspension won’t cut it. Sure would appreciate any information you care to share.
I have a 12 bolt in my car , I believe the brackets will remain the same but if you run a 8.8 you get the 8.8 swap control arms. Here is the link to the upper chassis brackets! I had to modify my upper control arms to shorten them up but it is nice having the adjustability! www.trickchassis.com/product/upper-instant-center-brackets/
@@bluecheezeracing oh sorry, like Caprice and impala. I have an 85 and NEED to work on the suspension for racing. I heard most of the 80s Chevy stuff is pretty much interchangeable 👍
@@bluecheezeracing thanks got with tin soldiers gonna get anti roll so jus get them there as well thanks your channel helped me out on my car (79 cuddy)
How are you getting 1.20's short times with that set up man? I am no expert but my car will not 60' at all. I got some serious MPH but I'm lost in the mid 1.30's short times. 1205whp.
Hit me up on Facebook and we can chat about it, a lot is the shock settings my friend! I’m about the same power , maybe a lil more now. Also like 1.28s not like deep 1.2s lol
I believe this is the one I got www.amazon.com/maXpeedingrods-Steering-Cherokee-1984-1994-1986-1992/dp/B08BFVQ93D/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=3OLOP8NHLUSX9&keywords=jeep+cherokee+steering+shaft&qid=1682851044&sprefix=jeep+cherokee+steering+shaft%2Caps%2C107&sr=8-1-spons&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.006c50ae-5d4c-4777-9bc0-4513d670b6bc&psc=1&smid=A16Q4TFOMCO1A&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExREsxVFBFTUZCTEpXJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMTA4NDg2R05ZUVdFVzg3WEZYJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAzMTQyNTRBU0RCTFJCNklIVVUmd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==
@@joshuaspangler9465 I have a 12 bolt in my car , but if you’re running a 8.8 then you’d use a set of mustang brackets . Just type in 8.8 lower control arm brackets in at summit and you should see what you’re looking for 🤙🏻
@@bluecheezeracing I appreciate the help. I ordered Viking warriors with 450 springs. Primarily street driven with an iron ls. Going with poly bushings from energy and 1" tall uppers. Did you ever get a bump steer kit?
