Yaas! Always! Shes inspired ao much of the look i WANT to achieve.. i finally got my hair lightened - its not perfect. And now i have to work on getting it back to healthy curls. I just wanted my curls to be more visible. W my dark hair u cant really see them.
Soooo beyond helpful Jayme! Especially the applying the products away from the scalp, it seems small but is a genius step, never crossed my mind! Binging all of your vids while eating bags gummy worms LOL all my love always 💛
@@alexamariepujols2096 can you pls help me :") So i used to use heat like 2 times a month or something i still have my curls whenever i wash my hair and I've been on curly routine for 2 weeks now and heat free but my bangs are SOOOO STRAIGHT like i could go out everyday and they won't get curly they're just straight:( idk how to fix this it's so annoying:(
Also, I didn't have a lot of damage in my hair so it was a short period, this training could take longer depending on your natural curl pattern and damage, hope it helps xo
So, I’ve been wanting curly, voluminous hair for a LONG time now, and I’ve been trying so many different tutorials. And let me say - this was the very first tutorial that helped me achieve those curls that are just like yours!! I’m so excited to show off my new curls now, all thanks to you! ☺️
You also might want to mention that your hair is cut in layers. When curly hair is cut in layers the top layers of curls will bounce up and make the hair look more curly than it would be if it were all one length.
:00 just came out of the shower, tried this tutorial out (as much as it was possible), I'll edit this when my hair is dry :) (Almost) completely dry: At first I was sceptical because it made my hair frizzy, though now I have to admit my hair has more volume! It also feels very light :) It's not exactly what I was expecting but I'll just wait until it's dry...
thank you so much i’ve always struggled with my hair my mom has her hair straight all the time so she never even knew how to handle her natural curly hair and that lead to me not knowing anything so i’m kind of ona journey on how to handle my natural hair and let me tell you thank you so much you’ve definitely help me so much i just started using your tips and already see changes
So my hair was never curly even when puberty started then once puberty started to get wavy and when I started to grow it, the ends got like really curly, it was crazy, now it's still really curly but the roots and sides are more wavy but the ends and back are extremely curly
you make it look so easyyy!! i’ve struggled with my hair for about a year now. anything lower than my ears are curly and beautiful but anything higher than that is very very flat. i really hope this is what ive been missing.
My beautiful curly hair fell out due to illness. I’ve lost about 30% of it and it makes me so sad. You have lovely hair I hope it always stays that way for you xx
Have you tried glowwa. My curly hair salon told me about it as menopausal thinning etc. there's a ton of RU-vid videos showing real results for alopecia sufferers etc. I'm a fan. Might be worth you taking a look too x
i know i’m late to this but thank you so much for this! we have extremely similar hair types and i always struggle with the volume or frizz or washing my hair and it being flat a day after. i’m going to try this out i believe it’ll work just fine thank you :D
I always like to twist mine back to together with my finger. if that doesnt work I add some water and finger coil to activate the curl at my root and the hold in my product. For stubborn curls I re denman them wet root to end. Hope this helps. Also if your hair is transitioning I promise it will get more defined the canopy is usually slowest.
Do you think it’s possible to do a video on hair loss when brushing in the shower and how to deal with that? As I’m a curly girl and struggle with this problem and didn’t know if I was the only one!
If you wash your hair once or twice a week you will naturally have a lot of hair that will fall out. This happens because you aren't brushing your hair often enough and making sure the lose hairs are coming free. Hair loss is natural and isn't something to be scared about. Just like anything we do as humans and shed dead skin cells and excess of something that isn't needed. As she mentioned in the video don't over condition(or don't condition at all, if the shampoo has natural oils etc. you don't need conditioner), so if you mix or add too much product to your hair that doesn't help your hair breathe. There's quite a few of products that people claim to cause hair loss that actually doesn't. You shouldn't be overdoing the amounts of products you use. Hope this helps!
People with straight hair shed and their hair just falls out throughout each day, or comes out when they brush their hair. With curls, more of the shed hair stays on your head because it’s in a curl clump and you aren’t brushing or washing your hair as often. So when you do wash it and detangle in the shower that’s when you remove all the hair you have shed over the previous days. It looks like a lot of hair, but unless you are experiencing actual thinning of your hair it’s nothing to worry about.
when i was in 8th grade my hair was super super curly once i entered high school i started dying it and just straighten it , now i’ve had decided to start my curly hair journey and hope to get my curls back i hope 🤞🏻 and praying 🙏🏻 that i get them back i love how your hair looks it’s beautiful and i will keep watching your hair routines , i have also watched the 4 episodes to know what products to buy and what tools a curly girl should have ! Thank you 😊
Gorgeous!! Thank you for the tutorial and showing us, one of your many techniques. Do you prefer mouse over gel, and is there more affordable options to recommend? Beautifully luscious curls!! 💯
for God did so love the world, that His Son-the only begotten-He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
My curls before and during Covid shutdown were like a looser type of curl then I cut my hair maybe twice and now it grew back super tight and coiled is there any reason that happened or way to get it back to those looser curls
It could be 2 things 1 the shorter your hair the less weight the more weight the more the curls are loose because they get pulled down 2 your hair was damaged and you cut off the damaged hair so it’s back to it’s natural texture
I’m so happy I found this. My hair is flat at the top and curly at the middle/bottom. There is no volume so I have curly hair but not pretty curly hair.
I have been following you for so long, and I appreciate all the great tips and product recommendations. I get great defined curls like yours, from the ears forward . But from the ears back my curl pattern is just 2c maybe 3a in some parts. Whether I coil, denman, wet style, damp style upside down, right side up, I just can’t get the back of my hair curly like the front, so it looks weird. Any Tips?
It sounds like the back of your hair is being stretched out of its curl pattern. Maybe try looking at how you style your hair most often and your sleeping habbits.
@@sandy_carpetsthesecond5013 I always sleep with my hair in a pineapple at night and rarely style my hair up but my bangs are always struggling to curl good like the rest, do you think anything I'm doing is messing up them?
Thank u so much for this i dont think my hair has ever looked better i was looking for a routine that looks good and doesnt take alot of time so i dont have to wake up super early before school and this is it! i havent used all the same product but it still looks so good i def reccomend!
Have you ever used the eco styled gel? I have used it for like 3 months and my curls have been popping until I realized that this products was the reason for my crazy hair loss. I am only 17 and I have always had such a beautiful long and curly hair but after using this product my hair is so thin and I can’t even touch my hair without losing so much and my curls aren’t even curly without using this product. How can I recover from this product? And let my hair be healthy again
As someone with a white mother and black father I have hair that’s strait at the top and curly about 1/4 of the way down to the ends. This video was super helpful thank you! (Also you’re really pretty)
You are so beautiful ❤️✨ I’m wondering, how come u don’t rake your mousse into your hair after the cream and then use the den man brush? Does it all more volume? And since you just scrunch the mousse, how long does the hold last for you? I’m so curious 😂
Is it possible for your hair type to just not work this way? I have wavy hair that starts under my ears with spiraling on the lower half. My roots have always been straight. Also I find that if I start flipping my hair upside down or raking product through it, it gets super tangled and dries really stringy.
Can someone help me , I’ve been trying to take care of my curls again but my hair is so uneven it’s crazy !! and when I put all my hair on my back there’s this “gap” of hair and my ends are also very thin and i don’t know what to do 😭???
Think you just need to give your curls some time to come back to life. Not sure if you were straightening before? But after I stopped using heat I had the same problem - very thin nearly see through ends and my hair was uneven and I also had some hair loss. But it has taken a while to get my hair back. Maybe trim your hair regularly aswell - that also helped me. And I always add moisture to my ends everyday, whether it's with a water spray or a little bit of leave in, just give them extra love. Hope this helps xx
okay, i have lost my curls bcs i used to brush my hair everyday and straighten it a lot and when i do routines my curls form but after a while they start disappearing and getting messy, idk what to do
From a fellow pro dancer I would love a video on scalp/ hair care for people who work out all day every day and spend their lives in a ponytail! Ever since I moved to a humid place my hair is a little bit confused lol. Thanks for the info!
curly girl here! i’m 2a-2c and i shaved my head a couple months ago. i shaved it for multiple reasons but one of them being that i didn’t have the money or motivation to care for myself anymore…i miss my beautiful curls and i hope this can help me care for myself again! i want long healthy curls…
Omg you're so beautiful Snow-white would be jealous 👀😍 don't ask me why I chose Snow-white. I could easily say all of the Disney and whatsoever princesses xD
At 4.33 I stop and asking you. The video is a bit old. I enjoy all your videos. I think you helped me to achieve good curls. But after the Olaplex lawsuit still ongoing what do you think of them?
Now I'm told if it doesn't curl from the root naturally it's wavy, even if it's consistently forming chalk sized coils and pencil sized curls in the front. Just because it's heavier in the back so the roots get pulled straight. I feel like the goalposts keep getting moved. First it's spiral equals curl, S equals wave. Check . Then it's whatever pattern is dominant. Check. Now it has to start right from the root all across your head. And then I see so many articles about why curly hair might not curl from the root and how to fix it.
Well. I saw so much stuff about tons of moisterizing products and spend good money on it, but my hair never looked good and always was super frizzy. Then in my desperation I tried a cheap soap that makes my hair dry, and I had the best curls ever. ... I don't get it either.
I can never find cheap products for my curly hair, and I also don't have a diffuser. Do you know a technique where maybe we can use something else as a diffuser substitute?
Do you have layers? My hair is always straight on the outside of my curls but when I do half up half down and reveal my curls from the inside they are wayyy curlier. Also my hair does not do that “cast” it just gets frizzy I don’t know why
