I’d buy another 4 probably a pro because why not then still try and get the 5. I assume within the next year or so there will be another model or color way for the 5. But this mode will be the face of PlayStation for the next 5-7 years I think.

Depends where you buy from, ebay (unless stated) most likely used. But retailers like Walmart and Bestbuy will have New ones when restocked. Same with PlayStation Direct. Although, I’ve been on a wait list for 3.5 months.

I kinda do this too. The only issue is you miss out on the online community of players cause by the time the next gen comes out, the game will effectively be dead online.
