Next time I would recommend you do a second take before you upload your content to RU-vid. This video was painfully long. I found myself fast forwarding in attempt to find the information I was looking for. 😢
Thank you for the comment. I like to explain everything and every step of the process and my videos are usually very helpful but not really meant to be a quick fix. I don’t really make videos like that but as you figured out, you can always fast forward. Sometimes I add things in my videos for more information on why the fix works at all not just the fix. And anything else is informational for those that enjoy learning more through the video. But I do appreciate your feedback 😊
Tough question but I will try to help. All new routers have 2.4 ghz. Most have 5 ghz but also keep the 2.4 GHz because lots of things still use that technology. 2.4 is also better distance than 5. So you need to know your ssid for each side. That is what you named each when setting it up. If you cannot figure it out you could reset your router to factory and then it will show up. Sadly you will have to reconnect everything that was using the WiFi. You could also go into the router settings and see that way. I hope this helps you.
My problem was with the Esicoo ones, the app updated but i had 3 of my plugs in the box so their firmware did not get updated, for somereason the latest app update wasn't able to find devices with old firmware. Dumb plugs. Anywho solved it by bustng out my samsung s7 and forcing my way into an older version of the app with an older version of android. Worked first try with auto detect then i could update firmware..
I lost power and reinstalled ... now it will power off for about 1 second, every 3 minutes ... have tried to reset several times ... have tried putting in different outlet ... keeps doing the same thing.
