@@TheTechnologyMan yeah. I've double and tripped checked I have the right app and the correct model of plug. I've cross referenced information on their website and everything says they should have the feature, but no such luck.

I followed your video and it works with the smart life app although I had to use the direct connect slow blinking light to connect it as it wouldn't find it initially. The issue I have is that after authorising the smart life app on Alexa it finds the socket but then says 'Device is unresponsive' but it still works with Smartlife....any ideas?
They can be a little fiddly to setup - but normally once you get them working in the app, they work fine with Alexa. Personally I'd start from scratch after resetting the plug - I find that sometimes does it for no apparent reason!
@@TheTechnologyMan Thanks for the reply 😁. It's more irritating because they were working until we had the electricity turned off and now they just wrefuse to connect to Alexa! Working fine from the app though 🙄. I'll persevere with them... 😁
Can teckin smart plugs work with goggle home mini ? I bought a pack of four. They work through WiFi, goggle assistant and goggle home app but not voice control on goggle home mini.
