I already have a lot of Z+ equips, and it doesn't take one minute xd. First of all you have to spend a lot of energy points or resources to get either a first yellow or a red slot, sometimes you get lucky and it doesn't take a lot, but most of the time I had to spend hundreds of energy points and skip tickets. After getting the red or yellow slot, you go to upraging and from there to re-upgrading the second and third slots. In my experience getting them both to either yellow or red takes about 100-200 slot removers, also a lot of zeni and the color elements used for soul boosting. So a rough estimate for one Z+ equip would be around 45 min / 1 hour

also as far as guaranteed upgrade goes, its cheaper to only use it when your within like 0.10% away from MAX in that slot other then that you are better off rerolling
