I love this take on “giving 200%•. Too often we only talk or hear about it like “kill yourself with hustle!”.....when realistically, there is a balance that is healthy AND passionate and productive. 💜☀️
Years back i discovered this girl who taught me more things and changed me in ways i thought i can never be. Words cannot explain how thankful i'm... Lotz of love.
not to get corny, but years back I was welcomed by an online community who taught me more things I could have imagined and allowed me to express myself in ways I never thought I'd be able to. Worlds can also not describe how thankful I am. Love all around 💖💖
Whenever this video comes out, it's morning where I live so it's basically the first thing I watch while sipping on my coffee. It's a great way to start my day so thank you ❤
I watch these every morning with my breakfast and coffee before school on weekdays and work on weekends. It really sets an intention for the day which i love
That’s SUCH an important topic, especially nowadays when so many of us do have to live alone or a long way away from our families with little sense of the kind of community humans used to live in but which still exists in many other cultures. It’s a huge western problem and one which Kalyn coped with admirably when she was living alone in her last couple of apartments. That was really one of her super-strengths and the main reason I started watching her. So I do think she is the best person to turn to for advice on being/living alone. She made it seem like utter freedom and absolutely great! And if it’s not for too long, I really think it can be! 😊
Yep. It's safe to say that waking up early to make my cup-a-joe and having a motivational "Chat" with Kalyn every morning is now a part of my new routine! As a photographer, I am going to give my 200% to the back bones of my business. The editing, organizing, brainstorming on new ideas, the financial side... I have a lot of other things that I need to give 200% to too, but slow and steady wins the race, right? Thank you, Kalyn
Waking up to these videos started to become a habit - please make book reviews or summaries. It would be nice to hear the summary and intake from your perspective
I’m loving these mini coffee talks 😍 Could you not make an uppdatering about catcher 2? As an aspiring author it would be so fun to hear more about your writing routine and how you feel about your progress så far!
You're my inspiration and at this point I needed this because I am not working 200% for my goals. Thank you for making this!!! Love you!! Love from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
Phone is my number 1 distraction too😅 I recommend Forest, for me is the best app to get motivated without your constant notifications and urge of scrolling You're amazing, Kalyn ❤
Oh my goshhhh more vids like this one pls!!! This is the reason I come to your channels for this type of possitive awesome inspiration! I look at you and am inspired and motivated and wonder how does she do it! So pls keep sharing what you do to live your dream life! 🤩😘💗
I'm absolutely LOVING these coffee catch up videos please make a video on starting a RU-vid channel and your tips on how to grow on RU-vid I admire you so much thank you ♥️♥️
A quote I heard when I was young that has really influenced the way I've approached life went along the lines of "If you're going to make sandwiches, make the best god damn sandwiches in the world and eventually people will be buying them internationally" (heavily paraphrased, I've never been able to find the original quote. It was shared by an artist called Kerli), in other words, whatever you're going to do, put everything into it and success will follow. Nothing is insignificant if you put your energy into it.
Of course:) ich Write along as i watch the Videos and reflect afterwards :) i could make pictures for m Instagram for you to See it :) My insta is kerstinrutzki
I love these daily koze coffee talks!! I like the bite sized vids to listen to along with your podcast! Currently sipping on a steaming cup of coffee and taking a work break 👌🏼☕️
How does one develop self discipline? I have absolutely no routines and am confused about their purpose and usefulness. Why are routines important? What do they do for you that you find good? What routines should a person have? I don't think I have ever had 1 routine much less several at the same time.
This is truly amazing, these daily short videos aren't just empty words reciting motivational quotes nobody relates to. These coffee catch-up's have allowed me to feel more balanced and confident already, and your words actually make sense to me and because they're short means you only have time to talk about the stuff that matters! Thank you Kalyn the world needs more of you ❤❤
I love these videos so much! Watching one a day and then writing in my journal has a time in my routine! I don’t like coffee but today I had orange juice with me. Don’t stop doing what you’re doing❤️
Very interesting video. I have some suggestions for others: Practical examples on how to live a balanced life - how do you do it? I am a very all-or-nothing person and it hasn’t served me very well in my life so far. Yes, it’s helped me meet book deadlines after spending months barely eating or sleeping or doing anything other than writing, but then I usually have some sort of physical and mental breakdown afterwards. Hardly healthy! I know you have to fight that urge too. In fact I think that many goal-driven people are susceptible to all-or-nothing behaviour and thinking, even when we know it’s bad for us. So some concrete examples of how you bring balance into your own life would be v helpful. Also, how to find time for a balanced life. Like you I work from home and have a young dog. I still find that my days get swallowed whole by walking and caring for my dog and working. How do you find or rather make time for the balancing elements in your life without feeling completely overwhelmed? Another topic could be: how to come back from bad experiences or big confidence knocks. As I’ve grown older I’ve found it increasingly hard to bounce back after life knocks me for six - it’s a question of resilience and mine has totally run out after half a lifetime of hard knocks and major depression. Today for example, my puppy, the love of my life, ran out of the park gates and into heavy traffic on a main road - miraculously he was unhurt, probably because I ran into the road after him, screaming at him and at the cars to stop. He’s fine but I’m still a complete wreck and have lost all confidence of being able to keep him safe. The whole event had triggered my depression again and I feel sure this is going to happen again except next time his luck will run out. How can one try to build back some positivity or faith in oneself after a traumatic event like this? (I apologise if you think such an event shouldn’t be labelled as traumatic, but please try to understand that my dog IS my child and all that I have, so it’s the same as if I’d just watched my toddler run into heavy traffic and very nearly get run over.) I would love to find a way to build up my inner resilience again so that events like this don’t take me so long to get over and don’t plunge me into quite as much despair! Thank you for your consideration. 😊 🐶 🐾
I love these kinds of videos. And I also love the kitchen videos, the vlog videos, the plan with me and the gyst style. I basically enjoy watching everything you do and this is because you are good, you are talented and you are so pleasing to watch. Just thought you should know that. ♥️
REALLY needed to hear this ❤️ I just started new online classes and a new job and i have not found a way to balance it without feeling like something is falling on the back burner
For the timer : • try the forest app, great way to have a little reward at the end, great for long or short periods • the pomodoro technique is great if you have a short attention span or feel better with shorter periods of concentration, big tasks cut into doable chuncks Good luck c:
The themes are really fitting for where I'm in life right now and they are helping me to be my best and teaching me how to sharpen my mind and just really helping me to be the person I used to and want to be instead of the shell of myself from being hurt too many times and experiencing burnout without mental help. So thank you so much, you're a real help even if you might not know it. 💜💜💜
Topics that i would LOVE you to divulge in is self care and mindfulness ^_^ you have become my fav youtuber right now love ur channels :) i dont drink coffee as much as i am sensitive to caffene so i drink herbal tea with u instead xD ❤👍 x
I have been watching these videos with a cup of coffee (or a glass of wine tonight) and just taking in your words and journaling, and it has helped me so much in just these 3 days, so thank you!! Also, we should have a Koze crew Facebook group. What do y'all think??
Actually this video was so needed in my life. I am on my way to graduate and start move out, get a job and I just wamted to thank you because I had no idea how could I start the whole... I guess project, because I forgot why did I do all of my studies. Now I know I have to sit down and collect my thoughts and plan my future... my year... my carrier... my life... and do my best to catch my biggest childhood dream. So thank you ❤️ I love your morning thoughts, you're awesome ❤️
Good morning from Spain! I have to say, the way you are creating content is amazing. It shows how much you have learned to edit and make videos more aesthetically pleasing, while at the same creating content with meaning. Sending best wishes your way 🙂

Giving 200% into school, just finishing spring semester about to take on one summer class (anatomy and physiology oh my) Haha plus I'm trying to map out my first novel and work part time. Stay busy and stay koze😎
Love the daily videos, it's like a mini Youtober ;) lovely to gain some insight and inspiration from you every morning, now I have a neat journal prompt to work on this morning :)
i absolutely love this series so far :) this is like so petty but if ur asking for a few suggestions could you maybe have different intro music each day cause the same tune sometimes makes youtube videos seem repetitive. then again it could take too much time so dont worry too much. btw you've been looking so gorgeous with your hairstyle lately, it really suits you
Use a stove eye that's either exactly the size of your pot or boiler, or smaller not bigger. It's a waste of energy from that little area not under a pot.
