I actually used this model to do a conversion with the head and cloak from Ulrik the Slayer into a Primaris Wolf Lord. I'm really happy with how it turned out.
Im awaiting my space wolves starter models as I type this. Im looking for this kind of inspiration as well since I feel like primaris is the future of the space marines and don't want to buy regular marines. You've done great man, I love the way it turned out.

Great model to make a Space Wolf. It would be great to make the hand dangling that grenade or what ever hold a tankard of ale instead. Wolf Lord Jovan looks like he'd enjoy a cold one after a hard day slaughtering orks. I'm new to the hobby and am only really interested in Primaris size units, but it seems like it's worth buying the old Start Collecting box just to get conversion parts. Pity I live in NZ and the box costs $165.
I like the way you think... Yeah I'm only collecting primaris guys. They are perfect for kitbashing. Look at eBay.. People are always selling boxes of bits. Also, if you're going for Space Wolves you can buy units that aren't old Marines, like Wulfen, they have loads of bits.. And Stormfang gunships etc for doing vehicles.

I just ordered this amazing model and I so badly want to add a power sword instead of the chain sword but I never did any drastic conversions like this before
He is a perfect model to kitbash! I think a power sword will fit in there much easier than the axe I did. Just be careful when cutting the chainsword off, then you'll be fine. 😎
