I’ve enlisted for four years. If I wanted to get my bachelors, do I have to enlist for another two?

@@lumi2798 If you plan on having the Air Force pay your degree through TA then yeah and it’s probably gonna take more than 4 years to complete a bachelors lol. I’ve been in for around 7 months now and I still haven’t even gotten a chance to start school due to all the training I have to go through.

So excited for BMT! Shipping out for Airlift Aircraft Maintenance August 16 and am going in as an E-3 with an Associates in Science. Would the education center be able to work with me to get a bachelors without having to earn another associates degree? Ultimate goal is OTS…

Hey bro, I really appreciate the video. I am an electrical engineering student and I want to join the Air Force, however I need about 16 credits to finish my degree but there is one class that is really getting on my nerves and I really want to join now as active duty? What do you recommend me? I have 149 credits out of 165, I study in PR 🇵🇷 so…. Curriculums are different haha. Thanks again for the video.

This is an amazing video. Really goes into depth with everything that you have to do. I’m on a 6 year special warfare contract with a 2 year training pipeline if I get selected. Specifically a PJ contract. I was wondering if you knew anyone with special warfare jobs that could attend college while active duty. From all my research a PJ should expect to be busy 8-10 months out of the year which would make it hard to go to school as well. I have no college experience and haven’t even graduated high school yet. I graduate in May 2019 and my ship out date is August 15th, 2019 for BMT. Appreciate all of your videos and the great content you give to us future airmen.

Just save college til after. Getting and remaining in the physical shape of a pj will take all your willpower. Focus on that.

This is a tough one man, I've known some people that went through PJ training and basically for those first few years it's nonstop. After that I'm not really sure, I've head though that most PJ's are training year round because they can be called into action anytime. I would talk more to your recruiter about that because they would know better than I would. I'll ask around for you though. Either way you have money to go to college anytime you are able to. I really appreciate the comment!

There are a crazy amount of restrictions. If you want schooling, just go to college first.

i leve for bmt on april 9 got any advice for me my only worry is being away from my wife and kids i feel like i will pass basic but im just nervous to be away from the wife and kids mostly i also want honors to get the extra day with the family

Just hit my 3 year mark and got SRA I got a lot of certifications for my job and can easily transition to civilian sector (fire fighter) looking back bmt is literally the easiest part of the military if you just do what your told when your told it’s cake

@@tanicwhisper0647 yeah now counting down the days to GTFO of the military April 8th can’t come soon enough I started as a bright eyed airman ready to take on the world now it’s ptsd depression insomnia a bum shoulder and knee but hey at least I get a gi bill I guess… smh (it wasent worth it) lol
