In today's video I'll be showing you How To Grapple Like a God in Apex Legends Season 5. This pathfinder grapple guide will show you grapple tips and tricks on console with controller to improve your grapples. On top of grapple styles and tips, I will also have a grapple course to help you grapple like a pro in apex legends. This video was recorded right before Season 5 dropped which nerfed pathfinder's grapple. (Rest in peace Pathfinder mains) This guide and course will still help but now more than ever since the grapple refresh timer is 35 seconds without a gold helmet, so hitting good grapples is way more important!

Why does the cooldown time for this ability is so short? I have seen matches where the tactical ability resets after 15 secs. While I play I have to wait like 20-30 secs or something. Can someone explain?

They gave path a nerf in the start season 5, cool down went from 15 seconds to 35 seconds unfortunately.

Some add-ons: If you are having trouble on airstrafing or grapple strafing (I refer to the hook motion as grapple strafing, sorry if you get confused), this guide is very in depth: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hB0Wa2fCVAk.html Also, the best way to tell when the grapple hits a surface when grapple jumping is the audio cue. You can hear it very clearly if you pay attention. Another difference between regular grapple jumping and grapple jumping with a grapple strafe is that the grapple strafe gives you some more distance. The grapple breaks when you look 90 degrees away from it. However, the closer you get to breaking the grapple, the more speed you get.

Personally I feel that non traditional grapples dont bring you farther than regular grapple (maybe even shorter) but 100% slingshots you faster

I got back on apex after my burn out and caught 2 W's! Alas it was not on my main. My experience with path's nerfed grapple is not too bad. I hope he will be fine in casuals and ranked (although I'm excited to see if Loba replaces him). Great video as always! P.S.
