Hiii guys, this is how I toned my bleached yellow hair to grey at home using the Wella color charm toners in T18, T14 and 050. I just wanted to say I’m not a professional at all and I don’t suggest doing your hair at home but this is what I did at home if anyone is considering doing their hair and I hope this video helps! After I did all this I mixed purple shampoo and the remaining 050 toner in a bit of developer and applied it to my hair. I let it sit for 30 minutes so the remaining blonde bits could also turn grey and this turned out to work well for me.
This is just what worked out for me and may not work for everyone x
Products used:
Wella colour charm - T18, T14 and 050 cooling violet
Truzone 20 volume developer
Fanola purple shampoo

I did exactly as it did it, and I do all the time. Otherwise it takes ages. It’s a great colour on you. Hope the stains on the carpet came out

How long did this color stay, “true,” before you felt the need to re-tone/ dye again?

i’m a little late but after about 2-3 washes, you’ll notice the toner fade. you can use purple shampoo to retain the color for a bit longer. but if you use regular shampoo your hair will fade pretty quickly.

How long will the shampoo extend the life of this toned colour? Would you use the purple shampoo every wash? It can't be good for the hair to tone every week or two? 😬

Omg .. Your hair is so pretty .. only one thing, where on earth did you manage to buy that toner as it's a US product that's not widely available in the UK .. I'm trying to buy it but not succeeding :)

i have a 30 volume container.. is that bad to use? should i be getting a 10 or 20? will it make the results less orange? AND did you just use the 050 toners?

Loveee your hairrrr. After putting the wells toners on your hair did you wash it and then put the purple shampoo with the 050?

Angela T thank you so much 🥺❤️ so the remaining 050 I put into a bowl and mixed purple shampoo into it and applied it to my hair for like 20 mins then rinsed it out, it gave it a more violet blue tint to the hair, but in the video the end result is without doing that to it 🙈 I hope that makes sense x

@1:25 Careful though the 050 is strong! She said she used 4 CAPEFULS NOT the bottle ..if you did youd prob have violent/blue hair for months 😳 ..also read her info she added even MORE of the 050 to Fanola (a already heavy pigmented purple) shampoo after the 1st time toning we didnt see the color from the first round w one with t14/t18/ 050.. Just. The end. after she did more things to it if I understood her right. Tis gorgeous though😍 ✨️ 💕 Also I

First of all, Wella is NOT toner... second; you’re not supposed to wash your hair prior to coloring, and third; you DO NOT start on your roots. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Hi, if you search up wella toner you will see they sell products called liquid hair toner which I used. I showed my process on how I did it, you aren’t obliged to copy my process but thank you for sharing your thoughts 😊

Wella Color Charm is one of the most popular and accessible toners out there. Idk who told you Wella isn’t a toner, but it’s actually very popular and well known. And secondly, I wouldn’t give opinions or advices if you’re not a Licensed Cosmetology.

@1DZJM FIRST OF ALL WELLA HAS TONERS, ADDITIVES, HAIR DYE ETC. AND YOU HAVE TO HAVE YOUR HAIR DAMPED FOR THE TONER TO DISTRIBUTE BETTER. GO GET EDUCATED GIRL, YOU MIGHT MESS UP YOUR HAIR OR SOMEONE’S ELSE.😳🤦🏻‍♀️
