I have a question where do you get one of those thermeter that you use in this video I would like to buy one could you please tell me where you get one thank you
Pro Tip: Instead of using a cloth to apply oil to your grill, you can use an onion. Works really well and doesn't leave behind anything other than a great smell of caramelized onions. :)
I have a high class barbecue,... It consists of three cinder blocks and a grill I pirated from my smoker. I use OAK or HICKORY for fuel and NO lighter fluid. My steaks are the BEST.
ribeye, and filet are the best steaks hands down, i hqve never heard a strip called a delmonico, delmonicos are ribeye.. And propane to cook the perfect steak?????? Charcoal is the best.. Bottom line... And i agree with the comment that you dont need olive oil on the steaks.. Oil on the grill grates seems like an ok idea
I'm confused. Don't use table-salt, too fine. Use coarse-salt, much better. So, use a grinder on your coarse salt....and make it fine....like table-salt...
Man, I did a video on my channel a couple of months ago on how to grill this very cut of meat, and they looked a hell of a lot better than this. And I'm just an amateur!
Using Olive Oil on both the steaks and the grill is overkill. You only need to oil either the grill or the steaks, not both. On a personal note. I find that oiling the steaks to soon, or adding too much leaves the steaks tasting gummy/nasty. If your talking about a perfect grilled steak, you are in fact referring to the best taste you can get. This is only achievable when A) using prime cuts of grass fed organic beef, and B) cooking on charcoal grill...
Why take Olive oil for direct grilling??? Oliveoil gets bitter... in this case better use vegetable oil on a high quality level. BTW... why usen oil anyways? It´s a nice peace of meat with its own Fat. Everybody thinks he have to use olive oil just because it´s fashionable... And: if u oiled the steak so lovely^^ why put oil on the grill again? thats useless
I think you need to learn how to bbq before you start offering instruction... Where do I start? :-) Those are recipes, not cuts of meat. Try a wire brush on the grill to clean/prep it when it's hot. There's no need to oil it as the meat has been oiled. "Turn it once", oh come on... Sear the meat, yes. Then cook slow on a lower heat to the desired doneness.
