Step1: Throw away your razor. Step2: Ignore all bad comments. (This is what makes a man out of you) Step3: Set a goal. Plan to grow for 6 to 12 months without trimming. Preferably a year for a big beard. Step4: Take care of your beard by using products like beard oils and balms. *** If you make it through all of this you will gain respect from your bearded brothers.*** Loved your video Bearded Existence. Also love your big beard.
Thank you for your knowledge. I'm use to having a big beard but I took my growth for granted. Stop taking care of it and in time almost every strand was split. I recently cut it all the way down to like a dark caesar... and I'm starting from the bottom again. Never knew about the neckline thing... I won't cut that anymore. Also never knew about how the barber shapes it. I'm taking all your advice because this no facial hair thing is the blow lol. Thanks again. You have a new subscriber in me.
I’ve been able to grow a beard starting at 18 years old and now I’m 36. And I never really did anything to keep it healthy. But the last couple years I’ve been messing around with some oils and bombs. But nothing like you and B Hyde. You guys have inspired me to get my beard healthy. So I’ve decided to start a yeard and the next few weeks. Cutting it all down and starting fresh. Keep up the good work and keep the knowledge flowing.
Bro, you don't know how bad i wanted to trim those popped out hairs as my beard grew bigger. I'm glad i didn't... definitely would've set my growth back!
kingtali 1985 yeah it’s definitely tough making it through those rough stages without grabbing the trimmers😂 I think your growth could have been set back and you would still be good😂😂👊🏾
Thanks B.E.!!!! im working through some major damage but im on my way back Fam. Im going to start a channel and shout you and the rest of the fellas out in the video. I learned a lot and been through a lot with the beard journey... thanks for your time.. real talk!!
Definitely follow 'Beaded Existence" advise about not trimming the sides/neck for a long time. I'm 3 months in and I haven't trimmed once, that's been the key to getting a full looking beard, I made trimming mistakes in the past. I've got the course, curly, unruly beard hair and it can be a challenge. Been trying various products and learned its manageable. Thanks "Bearded Existence" for the great videos.
Two biggest things that stepped up my beard game: 1 - getting past the "recommended" amount of beard oil. No more 4-6 drops. 2 - when I finally learned to not trim up to my jawline. Thanks for the great tips.
Great content my man, & i gotta say I'm very envious of your beard. I'm currently 14 weeks into my beard & it's looking very nice & full. I'm definitely happy with it. Keep up the awesome videos, I support you!
Let her know bro😂😂😂 thanks for the support!! Man y’all brothers show me love so I have to keep sharing what I know and have learned hope it helps👍🏾👍🏾👊🏾
Very good tips. I've got a 3 month beard now, touched up the cheekline and mustache during weeks 1 and 3 but not touched it since then. My night time routine is coconut oil and brush down, a couple of hours later I shower, comb and go to sleep. Sleeping with oil in the beard seemed like a surefire way for the missus to get mighty pissed. I comb it down when slightly wet in the morning before heading out to work. Anyway, would love some tips on the mustache if you've got any. Mine are reaching the lower lip now. The middle hairs, i.e. the bits on either side of the center, grow way faster than the rest, so when I comb them down I got a sabre tooth tiger look. I figure when these hairs get longer I could use them to "gather in" the shorter hairs on each side - make them look more organized.
Rizwan M get a black silk pillowcase the nighttime routine is essential and it’s the best time to lock in that moisture and soften up the beard because it’s not outside in the elements. The mustache is up to how you want it to grow I trim the middle of mine but I comb straight down If you want yours to go out to the sides your on the right track use mustache wax or a thick balm to keep it looking neat! Much success thanks for watching 👍🏾👍🏾👊🏾
You were right on point with those straggler hairs. I don’t know how many time I called my self grooming my beard, get it all neat, get dressed and wonder what happened. Fortunately I stopped. I would like you to go more in detail about your nighttime routine because I don’t have one and I’m starting to notice that my beard seems a little brittle close to the skin.
vlthompson3 yeah they used to drive me crazy too!! Make sure you are getting product to the roots they might just not be getting as much attention as the ends👊🏾
Sheesh! You were right this the one right here... absolutely critical 🔥‼️🔥‼️ I have been doing this exact thing for years. Bro thank you for the gems and wisdom 🏆
Your beard is inspiration! Thank you for taking the time to share tips and positive energy with those of us who aspire to grow a beard. It does help! Ty brother ⭐
I’ve learned three things in growing a beard…. 1. Genetics is the most important part of this journey 2. Genetics 3 Genetics is the key if you’re blessed with one than Alhamdulillāh but if Allāh doesn’t bless you with one than you have to be happy with what you’re blessed with!
Big Bro thanks for everything - im three months in & have been tryn to shape it as it grows , im gnna follow ur advice and be patient and take care of it in the process frm now on
Great video bro and I can’t tell you how much these videos have helped a brother!!! Damn I’ve trimmed my beard on the sides and those hairs that appeared longer too many times! I know I’ve stunted my growth smh! I’m just gonna line it up on the top and let it do what it do!
Your good it always grows back. You can tap the upper line lightly so that it’s not puffy right at the top of the cheek I just wouldn’t fade down far. those hairs can get curly and make the cheek line look crooked or unkept so I knock a little off those not much!. Much success bro👊🏾
Killer beard bro !!! Appreciate the effort to keep us motivated with our beard goals. The transparent beard thingy was hilarious... At what stage of beard growth does hair start growing under the lower lip area? I have them only about 2 cms wide and midway to the chin. It is kinda only skin inside the French goatee, besides the 2cms small patch of hair(if u understand what I mean)
I watch these 2 videos to prevent myself from trimming or shaving my beard. Just one question, I notice you trim your cheek line, how often do you do it and when should I start doing it?
What's up bearded existence...brother I thank you for all your you helpful knowlege!! I had a question what do you know about the Esquire beard brush it doesn't seem too harmless. What is your take on it?
Hey beard brother thanks for the video you really inspire me to grow my beard I'm six months in beginning my goal is to get it fully grown I just received my artius man beard oil in the mail and the beard jelly waiting on you to do a video on that thanks again
Wuzup brother..... I'm bless. The beardjelly is really like my favorite of them all because it keeps the beard moisturized, conditioned, and it smell absolutely awesome.. the ingredients are all natural.. I'm going to get all the scents that the have. I think u should purchase it and do a review. I have it on today.. Question what's the correct way to comb your beard.. and what to do for patchy.. focusing on a big beard..💪✊💯
Jermaine Lucas thanks for the info glad you found something you like that’s what’s up!!. I comb everything down I use Two different size picks one the teeth are farther apart I use that one first the. A regular pick to finish it off. 👊🏾
Okay thanks brother so combing down basically trains your hair to grow in that direction.. I just posted the beard jelly oil on Instagram and the artius beard oil as well I'm planning to get the balm to go with the Winter Chill what scent do you recommend that is a great smell for the Artius man..
salute bro! Thanks for the advice. I got a question. I can't help but sleep on my side & I feel like it's weakening my beard gains on the cheeks. Any advice on that? Keep the great content coming, I know it's helped me along my journey!
Hey bro give different sceneries as far as different areas of the house to make the videos more interesting. Because what you saying is real knowledgeable
Yo doc i don't trim my beard i don't let it get to the cheek Bone i use. Beard oil and butter and.i.have a micr big beard thank 4 the info let it grow and let. nit flo.✌✊✊
Wow maybe you should try a different conditioner. I like the scotch porter mostly because it doesn’t curl my beard up as tight as some conditioners but I have used others that made my beard softer! Also do a deep condition! And increase your water intake
Bearded Existence bro lol I’m trying everything I drink 3 liters a day and idk scotch porter is like a dry conditioner for me it does get it soft but I haven’t seen an improvement...any recommendations to other conditioners?
Thx for the info I will definitely try these have you ever used the honest amish beard products if so how do you feel about it & one thing any tips for someone with a beard that seems to break alot in the winter months I'm seeing I got alot of split ends threw out the year & its easily to pull out with some having I'm guessing the follicle white piece on the end threw out the year as well & the cold just does a number on my beard as well any tips will be appreciated
Funny you asked I bought some last week and when I got home And opened the box I realized someone in the store stuck their finger in the balm so so didn’t try it!! I use more balm in the winter to help to lock in that moisture and keep my beard from drying out. I would condition more at least 3x per week and deep condition 1-2x per month. If you are doing all of that and still getting split ends you may need to experiment with different products until you find one your beard likes👍🏾👍🏾👊🏾
@@BeardedExistence wow that sucks I would've loved to heard a review of that brand it's the only one I've used since my beard journey sorry you didn't get a chance to try it I didn't know they sold it in stores I get it off of Amazon could you recommend a few brands for me to look at I know everyone's beard is different & respond differently to different brands & one more question do you think some products are better for different textures beards like some are made for black guy's & some are made for white guy's & some are made for hispanic's this is serious question not racist by no means I've always wondered that I picked started with honest amish because all the males have beards and I thought they would be a good choice but then got to thinking are some stuff better for different textures of beards
18- tolife yeah different products definitely work better for either different textures or different needs when it come to use!! As far as balm it depends on what you are trying to get out of it the beeswax content plays a major part of how much hold you want and the butter content is usually the conditioning and the essential oils for smell and the benefits they provide so the balm you may like all depends on what you need from it!! In the winter I like balms with a stronger hold and that’s why I wanted to try honest Amish I hear it has a strong hold which will keep the beard in place, protect it from the elements and lock in your oils and moisture.
@@BeardedExistence ok cool I was just watching some more of your new uploads & reading the comments and I seen where you said in a comment or 2 that you like using some balms that are heavier for winter which ones are those if you don't mind me asking I think that might be my problem I would like to check some out for myself if you could throw some names out nothing that I would hold you to I feel that you've been at it awhile and you would know the goods one u could check out is all & I seen your review for beard & company I'm definitely thinking of checking them out
18- tolife My favorites are usually mixed so the company’s that I really like their oils But The balms I may get from another company so my favorite conditioning balm would be from beard products.com they make a balm called beard growth conditioner I believe it’s lavendar and rosemary I have never done a video on it but I plan on doing one soon I also like beardbrands tea tree balm for this time of year but not their oil it’s a heavier balm Artius Man makes a good medium hold balm! Are you looking for medium, heavy hold or conditioning?
I know this is random but one thing I never here people talking about is washing your comb. You need to wash your comb Everytime you wash your beard. :P
I just started my beard it been around 6 months now just letting you know man. Your one of the people I look up to. Simply because I wanna better my beard and better myself so thanks for the vids. I don't entend on shaving my beard. Your a great example of a big beard so thanks man.
doThatGWalk my nighttime routine does it!! I do it all week may take the weekend off! I just twist when it’s damp take them out in the morning I did a video showing!!👊🏾
Silly question brother have you ever ran a hot comb thru your joint? I was thinking about doing it because my beard is actually longer than it looks it's just curly
Eric Owen I’ve never tried it that heat is no good for the beard and you would have to do it every day!! Check out my video Under the neck beard solution I show my technique for straightening a curly beard it works pretty good!! I appreciate you watching much success bro👊🏾
Step1: Put castor oil in your beard, your shampoo, conditioner, the food you eat, the water you drink, and even in your bed pillows. Step 2: enjoy bigger beard!
Bro! Your beard is not from this planet!! My neck beard is non existent and mine does not poof out like yours BUT I'll add to my BE Yeard Challenge and not touch those areas on top of letting my mustache grow for the rest of the year.
Bearded Existence ok thanks bro. I’ll try that. Drink a lot of water but haven’t been conditioning. I get a lot of under him breakage. Hair kind of curls up and when I come it jus comes out. Stays really dry. I’ll try the condition tho. 👍🏽👊🏾preciate it
I am at an age where my beard should have grown fully but in the past year I have been giving it the attention suggested by many Beard Gods. Since then I see how it could potentially be wider because I see the dark area above and below the existing beard; it looks like an after five shadow but absolutely no hair is growing there but if it did, my beard would be one of those full, wide beards from the cheek line to the neck line but instead it is right in the middle surrounded by that dark shadow that I want hair to come out of. I am positive that the dark area IS NOT DIRT. So is there anyone else who experienced that dark shadow above and below the existing beard and is there anything I can do to boost growth in that area or do I just have to live with the shadow? Serious replies only please.
D Dub do you line up your own beard? The reason I ask is because I am heavy handed and sometimes the trimmers can do that to the skin if your applying too much pressure. The 100% coco butter stick will help get rid of it👊🏾
@@BeardedExistenceThank you for replying. I will definitely try the coco butter stick. I don't line my own beard, to be honest I stop cutting it and trimming altogether as advised and the shadow began to appear mysteriously as if hair is about to grow there but I never seen any hair or stubble. I never seen the shadow in the history of my living until I started focusing on the advice from Beard Gods like yourself, which I'm thinking is a sign of growth. The shadow is not a problem for me at all, especially if it will grow hair, but I can't get it to grow in the shadow areas. So I was wondering if the shadow is supposed to grow hair and just need a boost or is it something that is what it is and I just have to lower my expectations and chose to leave it alone or use the coco butter to get rid of it?
@@BeardedExistence Thanks man, I'll have a dermatologist look at it. I really appreciate your generous knowledge and your willingness to respond to questions. Keep up the great service.
I told my girl she should start massaging my beard, and she filed for divorce 😖 Its okay cause, I still get to visit the kids every other weekend.... ( jk )
